Lufthansa 8940 "super" beat us in today. Apparently "super" catagory a new class above "heavy". Atc told us we need 10 miles behind a "super". Aint that super.

But is it faster than a NASCAR?

Yo man, when is it comin to Dothan Alabama?

I wanted to see myself one of them there scarebusses!!

Anyone see the video of the landing? It looked like he landed in a crab, it was FUGLY! (The plane wasn't pretty, either.)

It's landing at ORD today. 1250pm
The ORD controllers are having a fit about the 10miles in trail, saying it will drastically reduce capacity at ORD if those things start flying in here regularly.

What??? It will carry 400 pax. Would they rather 10 B-1900s each with 1 mile? Why would they care about capacity reduction anyway?

They don't care about numbers of passengers. They care about numbers of aircraft they can land in an hour.

why do we have to accomodate these damn euro hippies? Out here in ORD they should be put behind all the other traffic. Everyone else shouldn't have to get out of their way. What a waste of delays and tax payer money so we can transport even more eurotrash to the USA LOL.

It's not like these things will be rolling in like a flock of RJ's. So there might be a couple of them a day, so what? Deal with it and move on.
