Sasha,
The reason I consistently post on these threads is because it has turned into "must see TV" and I can't wait to see how many AT Captains fall in above you on your upcoming list via arbitration. What you seem to continue to not understand about the arbitration process is that "who aquires who" doesn't seem to matter to those arbitrators when it comes to the SLI, rather what each side brings to the table, not including pay. You really need Sasha to look at recent awards to get an idea of your future fate. Will GK accept the award? Maybe not, but each of the other Airtran employee groups will accept the offers, meaning AT will become a part of the fold, and that means the pilots will too, eventually. It's your new destiny, and I get to watch it from DTW as I move up the ladder due to our numerous retirements. You thought you were not going to be affected with your 20 years, and now that may not be the case. Stop sweating Mr. Clean!
OYS
You are watching this now unfold from Airtran reserve in ATL. After it unfolds further you will be watching in from the couch of your MoM and Dads because you junior Airtrannies will go bye-bye as we expand Swa flights into ATL and reduce yours. It's already starting. We could go on like that for quite a while. Not that it will matter to you because you will be one of the first ones on the street.
What are the chances of going back to United? I know their SLI is barely moving. Go figure. I also heard the pay and benefits at Continental are much better so that will suck for you. Maybe you could just give it up and get married and have your husband take care of you. Have faith. There are lots of options for you, just none of them in aviation. If it wasn't for your borderline personality disorder I might suggest being a flight attendant since age and weight aren't as much of a factor anymore. GODSPEED!
