Payrates by themselves are uselss. You need to look at the overall package. Sure, a CRJ Fo position may pay $75/hr as first year. But if your monthly guarantee is only 30 hours...

Yes you are right payscales are not everything, but they account for $99 million of the $135 million in compensation increases. What in the overall package is better than what everyone else has. What jumps out to you in the compesation section to say yes this is a great contract.

Hostage benefits!

As usual we got plenty of haters who have nothing but negative stuff to say. That is a very decent payscale. Congrats to the guys at Pinnacolaba. Definitely sets the standard for ASA/XJT JCBA.

Also for newbies it looks like the days of poverty level wages for new hire FOs are coming to an end finally. $29 1st year pay for CRJ FOs in 2015

Scope Protection!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck to express jet, ASA, Compass etc, I truly hope you guys get strong scope protection. $90/hr does no good when your planes get traded across to non-union boys.

I'm happy with the overall picture, much better than the current Pinnacle contract.
200% pay for JM (on day off) and 150% for open time pick up was a surprise to me. Medical and Dental didn't jump as high as I expected. No duty or Trip rigs but having the 4 hrs min day is good. The only thing I saw that went backwards was Medial and Dental, can't complain too much since I am only paying around $145/month for myself, wife and 2 kids.
