Skywest Inc. needs to order something soon or they will be SOL in the future. All the order slots will be gone and we will be stuck with nothing but a ton of parked -200's and worn out -700's.

Where would they be used?

Delta is about saturated with RJ's and so is UAL.

UAL isn't super happy with the E-jet as they use a bunch more fuel and they couldn't care less that passengers have better comfort.

If SkyWest were going into that catagory of aircraft and if there was a need or a market or a contract, I think they would probably wait for the C-series.

Ive been saying it, they better do something soon. They can't grow and airline by hiding cash in the mattress and if they don't make a move they will be left far behind in technology. Chip seems clueless while Bedford is making headlines and establishing long term advantages with fleet types and investor relations.

Order the C-Series BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice fly-by-wire and sidestick up front (nice Mini-Airbus). Let's hope pilots would also get a raise (no guarantee with Skyworst).

Yes! By all means! Let's bigger and bigger airplanes at the regionals!

Why shouldn't they?, With their 10-12 yr avg captain flying it getting paid only a couple bucks more than Mesaba captains on their 76 seater. Even the fo on the saab(34seats) at mesaba gets more than a 99 seat fo at republic. This all with a bk contract from years ago. With that kind of dirt labor the executives should get paid well at Republic.

Why isn't this on the majors board? No, really?

you guys are all so dam dumb, your so interested in what is going on over here.

the airbuses are not going anywhere! in fact we have 6 more coming to F9

no we are not taking the rest of usairways 190's

we already ordered the C-series

these planes are new orders from the factory the 190's

and our crap contract was written in 2002 hence the crap wages so there ya go!

Whaa! How is this happening? We always check everybodies license and medical even if they're sitting in the back? We always make sure our engines are shutdown before we open the cockpit door? Why God why!!!!!!! J/k couldn't help it!
