Was looking at the logbook and saw that I will fly just under 760 hours for the year. This is a little on the "seagull-ish" side, (gotta throw rocks at them to make them fly) I wanted to start a thread and find out what everyone else flew this year, what company and seat you are in and if you are a line-holder or not.

I am a line holding 320 Capt for JB and flew just under 760 hours in 08.

(Lets not turn this into the annual tasteless "I made this much" W2 fest)

DAL M88 FO....NYC on resv Jan then onto ATL on resv until July...then line holder in ATL (6 mths res 6 mths line): 799 hrs

F9 block holding copilot - 700 Credit, Blocked 600.

Guys on the street flying the min. Unfortunately I'm a minority.

I thought the goal was to get paid for flying you didn't actually do?

Pay and days off
Pay and days off

75/76 FO mostly night (hint). Lineholder for 7 months reserve for 5 (by choice except for once). About 250 hours block, credit a little over 1000.

Hawaii Island Air, DHC-8 Capt, line holder, 525 hrs.

How about a how many landings thread! 1,630 for '08! lol :smash:

PDT line holding CA. 965 block, 1075 credit.

884 for the yr with on sick pull. I would have flown 903 if I stayed healthy.

Flew with a Capt just the other day that got pulled for a leg. He was at 999 for the yr. I would imagine he will be the high time guy at SWA.

1 month XJT CA and 11 months NWA FO = 400 hours flown roughly 900+ hours credit

2008 - 70 hrs. - Bankrupt Airline / Unemployed

2000 - 216 Hrs. Block / 900 Pay ( Not bad as a Lineholder. )

And, my personal bests:

- October and November 2001.

- ZERO Block Hrs. Flown

- 75-80 hrs. Pay

- Again, as a Lineholder with no reserve responsibilities.

Sadly, it was partially due to 9/11, but mostly due to incompetent Management during a Fleet transition.

I'm still not quite sure why the airline no longer exists....Something about expensive gas and a contract for some flying going away is what they are trying to tell everyone.

O.K. Sure....

Demos, Delivery flights, Pt 91 owner flights, and Pt 135 charter flights total 465 hours for 08. That's roughly 30% less than what I flew in 07. Yikes!
