Thanks Dude...as your "seniority list" poped up my Daughter (4 years old) walked into the room and saw your naked lady guarding your zip file. I had to explain to her why it was there, which I had no idea why it would be. It will be fun explaining to my wife how a naked woman would be on an aviation site since my Daughter will tell her I'm sure?

Don't get me wrong - I like it, but give me a warning next time. Something like TV-14 or something might help.

Any reason why you posted the seniority list anyway? Its only useful to people on the list and they already have access to it. Personally I don't like having my wife's personal info...hire date, birth date, etc. posted on a public forum.

But, it's gone now. UAL ALPA has already made phone calls and it's been pulled from a couple of public sites.

I don't know what you posted, but please do not post the seniority list with names on it. It is inappropriate for public boards.
There are a total of 9264 pilots on the seniority list.
Furloughs: 2172; most senior furloughee was hired 9/21/98.

I moved up from 8772 to 8610. Not a great deal of movement. There were a lot of early retirements that moved me up significantly in the prior year; next year should be about 200 retirees.

I believe that management has said that recalls will start early '05; in this business, that's subject to change daily.
As of this time, I have heard that TK is a ghost town; they've got the PIs out flying the line this summer and deferring PCs to each individual's drop dead month. UAL is very short on pilots on property. However, if they scale back flying further, they won't need to recall nearly as many pilots.

Once recalls do start, I would anticipate some of the furloughees to take an initial bypass due to the job that they currently hold. For those that returned to Active Duty, many have most likely signed 5 year bonus contracts.

Murk, did I miscalculate? I subtracted 2172 from 9264; 7092. #7092 shows a hire date of 9/21/98. If I'm wrong, it won't be the first time, nor the last.

With 1517 furloughees above me, I'm figuring that I'll be back on property spring 2008. Darned good thing that I didn't quit my 'part time' job in the Reserves.

Nov 78 hires are 365-385 seniority.



Groundhog, I figured out the 2 pilot discrepency. There must have been two furloughees who have died and been removed from the seniority list. I know Pete Jahns was a furloughee who died in a T-38 accident at Randolph. He was a great guy. I did not find his name on the seniority list.

Your math looks good, but I know the top furloughee is 7095 with the new list.

Now that just flat out doesn't make ANY sense! How long did it take you to come up with that nonsensical counterpoint? Besides, I wouldn't call a seniority list a "public document." Additionally, in this day in age of IDENTITY THEFT and TERRORISM..........why the phuk would anyone find it neccesary to post the list? Very very very bad move for whoever put it on there. I hope you start to take your personal info a little more seriously especially being in the business we're in.

It may also becomes public if a hearing (arbitration) is held to determine the outcome of a grievance involving senority, I don't know. Just saying that I have no trouble finding my info numerous different places.

Your shopping habbits and a lot of what you don't realize are also public domain, but I won't post it on the internet. Surely you can understand this?
