135 Raft requirement

I usually let ATC know when I'm without a raft, and keep them (and me) honest with the on-board radar in ground map mode.

If you are cutting it THAT damn close.....then put the raft of board. It beats drowning.

Thanks fellas! I just wish there was some sort of software or something that would take an inputted route and show the distances---maybe that's my million dollar idea??

use your wx radar tilt it down so u paint ground and water will show nothing then adjust the scale so it shows 50 miles
