Except .... you can't sell the certificate. All ou can do is sell 100% of the stock of the corporation, LLC or PLC that holds a certificate. Ofcourse, along with 100% of the stock, you get 100% of the debt and liabilities.

If an air carrier is down to selling 100% of it's stock to someone so that someone can utilize their air carrier certificate you can bet there is some pretty bad pie not far away.
