I'm wondering what pros and cons there are of flying for a company such as Pentastar Aviation @ PTK vs Netjets?

I think there is a difference between being a small part of a Big machine vs being an important part of a smaller machine.

I have been here 9 yrs and the Chief pilot does not know me or my name. When I call in sick ... nobody misses me.

In the past it was the opposite situation for me.

Couldn't take vacation, couldn't be sick, etc..

Thats one of the differences.

Like living with a beeper ? Like finding out your airplane is up for sale when you see it in one of the sales mags ? Like not knowing when you are working for the next year ? Go 135.

Pay, benefits, QOL - compare for yourself and see what you prefer.

do ZE Germans still own penistar or did they sell it off and keep the DasBus for the exec hauler?

I was working line at ptk in 98 when the takeover happened I remember line guys doing the Zig Hale as dasbus flew in.

Ya know Mehoff, you've been one of the more entertaining members of this community. They let you fly yet?
