Regardless, a Happy Christmas present to my airline colleagues. Now, if you could just convince the Fed to apply a retirement age to ALL compensated flying, we'd all have candy and nuts for the holiday....

We'll see if as many of the age 65 guys get hired to fly like the 60 year olds did. I don't think they will; Age 65 will become the defacto limit IMO.

I don't see the corporate world being as keen on hiring 65 year old retirees as they were to hire age 60.

Although, if a pilot shortage actually occurs, maybe they will have no choice.

My "No-Fly" list has exactly ONE person on it. Deaf as a post, hands of stone, and sharp as a marble but since he's SEVENTY-THREE, I guess I have to cut him some slack because he has so much "experience" and all.... There's OLD 70 and there is YOUNG 70. This guy is FOSSIL 70.

Yes, we need an age limit on ALL compensated flying for those in the 91/91K/135 world that ALREADY HAVE the job.
