Hi y'all,
I'm looking at purchasing a V-tail Bonanza and would like to go into a partnership with 2 or 3 other interested party me members in the ownership.
Looking at basing the airplane at the North Houston, Texas airport Hooks airfield (KDWH).
Let me know if you, or someone you know is...
I answered 55 Questions. They give you 20 minutes to answer 125 questions. The Cog test wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be, but for what ever reason I didn't get the call. I could have just failed the Personality test, or it might have been because I didn't attend the Job...
Unbelievable!!!!
The TA that was voted "NO" yesterday, is being put up to a vote again today; without any amendments to the TA!!!
Absolutely an insult from our IBT1224 Union......
What freaking joke this has turned out to be.
We are going to vote until the Union gets a "YES" vote.
Makes me...
No need to worry, the TA didn't pass. The results came out today and it was very close, by 1 vote. Only 75% of the guys voted. IBT was trying to persuade everyone to vote for the "poop sandwich."
We'll see where it goes from here.
Well, For those interested in an update on SAI:
Southern Air filed Chapter 11 late last month and offered a TA to the pilot group.
The TA offer is a joke, in my opinion.
The Vote ends on Oct. 24th. The Union is encouraging the group to vote YES.
It will be interesting to see the final results.
No new contract yet, G!
Besides, they never abided by the old contract; they always seem to interpret the terms in management's favor. Things are just going to get worse.
Hey Classic,
SAI's Fleet is as follows:
4 777s, 4 744s and 6 classics soon to be parked.
Are you saying the Atlas/ Southern deal is done?
Can you elaborate a little more?
Well, I hope Atlas buys up Southern soon. I hear the Classics are ALL going to be parked very soon and furlough letters are going to be sent out; out of seniority order.
But I'm sure the Teamsters Union wouldn't allow something like this to happen.

Re: Pilot Credentials Application Service
Has anyone here paid the $20 for the six months of service with this website?
Is it worth the money? Do the Airlines use this service to seek applicants?
Just looking to see if it's worth the time and money to invest in putting my info out there...
Pay raise
Hey swordfish,
Is there going to be a pay difference for the 777 and the 742?
I would imagine those 777 guys could easily get picked up at one of those Asian carriers making twice as much.
Just curious,

Looks like another one bites the dust. Arrow Air absorbed by Centurion Air Cargo.
