Vote for the candidate that does not want change age 65, believes in collective bargaining, does not want foreign pilots in our cockpits and wants to modernize our ATC system. The rest is all BS ....and you are an utter moron if you vote against our industry

    Day rate for contract work?

you can be a free market guy and still call folks out for whoring out their services. Especially at the training centers. Remind senior management that you are a client and are tired of competing with their employees on contract flying. They are pretty receptive to this. This is part of free...

    Aircraft management

Effective management companies charge a pretty penny, however clients see savings that will almost equal the amount that they charge. Not to mention they treat pilots well and do not view pilot salaries a burdon but just merely flow it through. Case in point, at the management company that I...

    FAA Ramp Checks

Bull crap. Under part 91 you under zero obligation to entertain their fishing expedition. You do not need to be a dick, but you certainly do not need to make it easy Especially as a part 91 operator.

    FAA Ramp Checks

ARROW ..... That is it. And no you may not board the aircraft unless you suspect a problem. Beyond that, no need to entertain them.

    I don't believe in titles !!!!!

If he is contract does it matter if your co-pilot takes "time off!" Sounds like you need a full time co-pilot, not contrator!!!

    BEWARE G-III job based PIE

Then what .... Go out and get another gig. Might not pay 230, but should not have any difficulty finding a G450/500/550 or V job paying north of 150k.

    BEWARE G-III job based PIE

In the past 2 months I interviewed for 3 jobs. One of which was 135/91 ... the others were pure 91. All jobs paid mid 100's with better than average benefits. If you ain't finding good jobs out there then you are not looking in the right places.

    1261 days to go!

What about the guys that lost their pensions? Were they being greedy or just trying to make up what was lost?

    BEWARE G-III job based PIE

Spoken by the guy who has flown WSCofD, beechjets and KingAirs ... an expert in part 91 operations no doubt.
