    Company financial question

Nothing is gauranteed. We have folks who were flying for Fortune 100 companies for years and all was well until they merged with so and so cpmpany...and here they are. I think that being autonomous from any airframe manufacturer is a plus. BH is a plus. And our CONTRACT does have language to...

    Company financial question

This may help too. Although NJA is always vague about the money, the company has been around awhile. ExecutiveJet, our name prior to NetJets, has been around since 1964. In 1986, Santulli started Netjets fractional as a part of ExecJet and here we are today. So even though the money part is...

Flexjet Union Drive on the move

Hey Bogart, get over yourself!! We are a COMMODITY!! Bought and sold just like new tires on your shiny CJ3. When costs need to be cut, pilots are the first to go. Who's going to stand up for you guys when the time comes? Unions are a love/hate thing sometimes, but what relationship isn't?

    Cirrus training

That's kind of the way it seems to be happening..."oops, I'm lost, pull the cord!" That's why I was interesred to know. Seems to be a few Cirrus events lately that might not have been if they had not pulled the cord and landed in someone's back yard. Not saying that this was the case in NYC.

    Cirrus training

Hey fellow CFI's, just wondering if anybody out there has any time training somebody in a Cirrus or other parachute equipped aircraft. Are we entering a new age in training where guys are no longer taught to fly the aircraft to a safe, power off landing if there is a problem? What are owners...

    NetJets

Capt. Dad, another thing to figure into your commute is the 7/7 schedule. Most new hires are getting onto that schedule pretty quickly - as in awarded prior to going to IOE. You can look at your schedule as far out as you want and buy advance tickets if you need to at lower costs. Some of my...

    Cockpit size of bizjets

Hey RNO, don't give Lola that crap!! Many new hires are coming into the XL.

    excel training, what it's like.

Absolutely correct; you bust and its not good. There are always exceptions, but if you have trouble with the type ride these days(bust), then you're probably done. If you have trouble during the type training, there MAY BE some additional training prior to a type ride, maybe, maybe not...

    NJA Update form Medical Question

Not sure what to tell you, but the guys that I am seeing coming through training are still showing medicals that are coming from Dr. Baehr(?). Dates that are still in May.

    NJA Update form Medical Question

Baja, you must have a new first class medical. Regardless of how old it is, you're going to get a new one at your NJA physical.

    excel training

You know the deal, "cooperate and graduate!!" You're not there to reinvent the wheel, so just go along as long as they're not giving too much crap.
