Hiring will be into both aircraft. You may have a choice of aircraft depending on when you interview. I don't see any reason they would just assign you an aircraft if they had spots available on both at the time of the interview. Pay scale is the same for both fleets. They have hired many RJ...

    Skywest to Aspen

I was looking for flights to Aspen and I saw that Skywest flies there from Denver. I was wondering , does your company require special training to qualify to fly in and out of there, especially at night? thanks

    Continental Express Jumpseat

Hello guys/gals, I am trying to jumpseat down to Ixtapa, Mexico in May (Cabo). Does Express accept international jumpseaters? If so, what is the process? Do I need to list or just show up at the gate? thanks, Johnny

    mexico city jumpseat?

Hello all, Im looking for info regarding jumpseating to Mexico City. I have read that UPS and FedEX do NOT allow international jumpseaters. Is that still true? If so, do any of the legacy carriers allow international jumpseating? thanks, Johnny taliban

    135 Days Off

rest I have never heard of an FAA inspector going through a 135 operator's paper work to see if in fact rest time is being documented. In fact I have never seen a form of any kind that unambiguously addresses rest. Duty on/off times? Yes but not rest times. I took a look at the regs you sited...

    135 Days Off

simply document rest You guys are missing the point I was trying to make. I realize that the Feds "have consistently interpreted rest to mean blah blah blah..." My point is that bottom feeders are not required (at least in my experience) to DOCUMENT when a pilot's rest began. There is no paper...

    135 Days Off

documentation Av, you stated that documentation of flight time and REST TIME go hand in hand."You can't have one without the other". All three of my former companies had the same record keeping procedures (approved by their POI). Fill out a FORM 1- this was the aircraft log book that included...

Attention ALPA Pilots - Jumpseat for Cactus Pilots

entertainment Can't ya just feel the luv? I mean, who needs a show like South Park and 4th graders fighting when we have Flightinfo? Now I forget, is it an east or a west mom on the cover of Crack Whore Magazine? (carefully setting down the bowl of popcorn, and looking for my flame suit)

    135 Days Off

Documentation The biggest problem I see with this regulation is the lack of REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION. All the bottom feeders I worked for never had to document a pilot received his/her days off. Same goes for the ten hour rest requirement. If the feds where serious about this regulation they...

McCain to lose pilot vote block.

taxes the only pilots who will have their taxes raised are the upper management types making over 250,000 a year. with all the pay cuts pilots have taking the last few years I don't believe to many will be affected by Che Obama's fiscal policy. Not saying I agree, just pointing this out.

    Remember 25 years ago?

Back around 1999,2000 I flew a mechanic down to Port au Prince to work on an Air Canada plane. Turns out it was the Gimli Glider. I climbed the stairs and walked on board just so I could one day write about it on a pilot web board. Man, I need a hobby!

    JetBlue Call

Hoping for others to quit just to increase your negotiating leverage ain't the best strategy. A more effective tactic would have been to not accept the position in the first place (assuming you KNEW the pay scale in advance) good luck
