Jim, with those results you almost make me want to give cpap another try.
What have you done to make friends with that machine?
I've tried both sleep and pain meds. I've tried whiskey; and I've tried drugs and whiskey. I put it on and watch TV during the day. I have all the different mask.
I...
...have a stint. I think the medicine that goes with the stint and the BP med's are killing me a little each day. My BP is regulated, but I feel like ******************** all the time. I take a hand full of pills in the morning and at bedtime. I retain fluid during the day so I can't sleep at...
Second of five children, all right handed, except #3.
Always been afraid of heights.
Number one and myself were ag-pilots and both of us are most comfortable flying below 500 agl.
Doing much better today. Swelling is going down a little more each day. My foot looks like it is going to spit my toes out on the floor it's so swelled. I have these red rash like patches that hurt like all get out. They caused me another night in the hospital this week. I'm up to four trips to...
Well, I got out of the Hospital a week ago today from having my first heart cath to put in a stent.
What a bummer, too. I had just gotten my second class medical back just two months ago and did a flight review.
No warning at all either. Monday the 4th I felt strange. Late Monday night I was...
With a million in hand, buy an operation that has a good client base and have the owner stay with you a few years and train you. Then, all you need is enough money coming in from another sourse to keep it up and running.
Seriously, it's an all but dead industry compaired to what it was up...
I fly aircraft owned by some friends as often as I can. It may be a J3 Cub, an 8E Luscombe, a Champ, an L19 Bird Dog or the most desirable is a 450 hp Stearman. All except the Stearman have no electrical system and must be hand propped.
The only thing I worry about is that which is standing on...
I rented T-hawk at HWO in the mid 80's for the cost of the fuel burned. The owner of the FBO let some of the regular customers fly the thing just to keep it exercised. If I remember right it was less than $10/hr.
Logged some ercoupe time at $5/hr when a C172 rented for $65/hr. The ercoupe was...
Pre-purchase inspection by someone that knows fabric covered airplanes and wood spar wings if so equiped. Don't be afraid, or cheap but work smart and do your homework carefully.
Good luck and enjoy. I love them airbatic's spelled backasswards.
It's a shame that little girl lost her life because of that fool. I'm sick over this. You would think if he wanted to hurt his x and her mom he would have taken them flying and threw the both of them out. The mom out at 3000 and spiral down around her and toss the x out with her at 1500.
Looked at the new Piper light jet concept airplane on Aero-news. Now this one caught my eye. Not that I would ever have, or fly one, I still like the looks of it. Even with single engine, I think they are on to something here.
I hope they have better luck with the jet than they did with the Boo.
I was ramp checked once in Florida by the most beautiful redhead girl you ever saw.
She checked my papers and then started an inspection of my airplane. She grounded me for two items. One, the N-number was double black line as if it were applied with black electrical tape. It wasn't, they were...
Champ is a good airplane. I miss mine terribly and with fuel over $4 around here I wish I had it back.
At the price they bring now, I wish I had every one I had the chance to buy for $6000 or less in the 70's.
