Well if it is not then my bad. Does not change the fact that the individual is so far off base with their statements it is sad.
Whomever they are, they do have some decent inside intel, albeit slanted. Thus it is from a current/former MEC/LEC which begs the question why the heck is/was that...
Thanks... just got fed up with the outright lies and the attacks not only on me but other 9E guys/gals that actually try to make a difference.
I don't get the whole attempt to throw SE under the bus by using my situation. SE deserves better than that, and those that refuse to see that I can't...
While I don't agree with SE, jeez guys... is the best you can bring?
My case which you really have no clue about? Is this the best way you can attack SE, on something that really does not apply to him? There was a MEC and more than one signed off to the resolution to allow the FPL. That...
If you "know" of the settlement, then I would love to know about it. Other than the ALPA lawyer, myself and the MEC chair it is all confidential. I that is broken, then my case would go to the SBA, and I welcome that. So please ken.. tell me what you know, SE and CH would enjoy having this case...
Justin... christ now, you've been at SWA for how long? I truly regret I took the time to congratulate you on the exit from 9E to SWA.
Sorry dude, you are f'ing clueless. Take the time and ask me (me the source) and stop making crap up, it makes you look stupid.
Need you forget you were the...
Believe what you want, believe who you want to. Reading some of the comments, some have already made that decision. That is why the PNCL pilot group will never be united, too many people working against the greater good.
I can't argue with your points. Well put and spot on.
If you get your arse out to the membership and communicate, there is less for the ankle biters to chew at. Grassroots starts with getting out there, not dividing the yankee's from the good ol boy's. No one will win that fight, not with how...
No offense... what data?
Name the puppy mill and they had "bridge programs" to the 121 environment. Then when the puppy got into 121 training a large percentage busted out.
You can structure curricula in any industry, where the rubber meets the road is in the practical aspect. That is where...
It was not my intent to suggest your office in nothing more than a title. Please don't take it personally. Yourself and a select few others, I agree it is more that a title.
For those others, it is just a title. That is the difference between a union rep and a great union rep.
Rez and PCL I respect both of you for what you have done with the union. That is not in question at all.
I am sorry though, when you fill out an application for a credit card or your IRS form, under profession you put PILOT, not some union title. That is because it is simply that, a title.
As...
lumping currency and training as insane BS and useless drivel is disappointing. I would hope, the person leading my organization would want to be no different than the masses.
So you are going to tell me there is no vacation, no sick days and god help everyone if A MEC chair or CEO of an airline...
It is still a volunteer position, no one gave the Chairman the choice of scrubbing lav's or being chair. Running the union is left up to the guys in Herndon, not the Chairman of a MEC. All S/he is a person that is the voice for that pilot group. That MEC chair still needs the okay from Herdon...
#2.. No point in arguing, point is well taken.
#1. How long are we talking about with recurrent and checkrides? Maybe 2 weeks in a year, maybe?
NO full time rep works 365 days a year, and the union will not fall apart if the full time rep takes the two weeks a year to stay current...
I have to disagree.
The union is a volunteer organization, yes you heard right... volunteer. There is no application process, interview and hiring manager that says you are hired to be a rep, committee member, chair, LEC or even MEC member. In each of those positions, come payday they are paid...
140/95 is pre-hypertension, garlic is fine so is a diuretic a day or so prior to the exam may work just as well.
Regardless, start with your diet, cut back on the sodium, fried foods, and definitely the fast foods. Exercise is okay, but make sure you are not pushing over 145/95 before you work...
great statement, but you are are not being realistic.
That piece of paper you call the contract is simply a piece of paper. You need willing parties to abide by it, otherwise you need lawyers to enforce it, and even then it is not always enforced.
Arbitration is not overnight, ask the 9E MEC...
