Nonrev On AA all the time, both commuting and on ZED's, have never had a problem and can mention plenty of times the Flight Crew have helped make sure I got on.
Like DP said, I think a lot of airlines has to drastically increase their pay to attract pilots and in particular expats. I see some of the postings for contract jobs around the world and pay is failing woefully short.
Not that TP needs my help, but I am a bit confused when it comes to the personal attacks.
I am well aware that he used to work for Emirates, discussed it with him and got some good advice. Ultimately I chose not to pursue that avenue.

It is my belief, and those of others, that the hedging loss happened as described. Not because of what the airline reported, but because the other side of the hedge reported it as profit.

Anyway, take a look at the white paper on the ME3. Massive cash infusion to a state owned airline under the guise of buying equity is hardly above board.
Nor is covering a large loss on fuel hedging really legit.
Neeleman is one smart dude, not the most organized one, but smart and surprisingly honest.
I think he can pull this off, sure on paper it looks scary, but it might just work.

I would imagine, at least as JetBlue is concerned, that it's some of our part 91 pilots.
Certainly can't imagine it being any line pilot.
Btw, the JetBlue pilots overwhelmingly voted to be represented by a CBA, part 91 pilots will hopefully soon be a thing of the past.
