If i were SWA labor, before GK comes asking for a paycut...maybe you should ask him the total cost of the "bags fly free" campaign. Total cost meaning: advertising plus lost revenue. Side note: I would miss the ads because they are very entertaining to watch! Delta, UAL, and etc are making... -

Hey guys/gals..curious about the type of headsets you use on the 737. Are more guys using Sennheiser ANR or the Telex 850 ANR's? Time to replace my old headset, and get something to help mitigate the 737 noise. -

Dave, Probably not the best idea to solicit hotel info from a public forum. With a little digging, I am sure you can figure out enough info for your purposes without compromising info that can be seen by "not so nice people" around the world. Example: Mumbai comes to mind! -

SWA has not had to "adjust" their pay rates like the legacy carriers have had to do. Without 9/11, SWA would still be at the lower end of the pay rate spectrum. -

UAL 12yr Captain pay
UAL/CAL pilots: I hope the NEG CMTEE....as a LAST resort, accepts nothing less than SWA pay rationalized on an aircraft seat basis. IOW, SWA pay rates represent the smallest jet at UAL/CAL and therefore the lowest payrate. More seats, more revenue, more pay. -

Another variable Assumption: I can't imagine that the combined seniority list of both NWA/DAL will agree to anything less than SWA pay for its 737 next contract. Also assuming that pay will be rationalized above 737 rates for larger a/c in DAL's fleet. Given: Imagine two pilots hired on... -

Any contracts currently being negotiated? For those pilot groups that are painfully negotiating labor agreements: Does it say anywhere in your books that you HAVE to jump the security line? Are most pilots doing this to accommodate an "on time" departure for....THE COMPANY? I would think... -

IMO...assuming we are not facing another bankruptcy (knock on wood) i really don't see giving an inch on scope. when people are moving up in categories at a quick pace...watch out! scope will be less visible on the radar when folks are upgrading. now with the merger...you see 10+ yr FO's on... -

I don't see that happening this time. The wide body mafia at Delta is no longer a majority. Most people flying at Delta know that INCREDIBLE PAY RATES can appear and DISAPPEAR overnight. RJ's don't follow the same trend...they appear but don't disappear. We would be very unwise to allow ANY... -

I have thrown the towel in from an established career to make a career elsewhere. I would love to have a list of all the professions out there that make over 125K a year, full benefits, retirement plan, minimum 15 days off, relatively stable job security, and no more than 4 years training... -

The Bitter RJ Guys Forum I think Flight Info should rename this forum to "The Bitter RJ Guys Forum" Misery Loves Company! This place use to have some good airline info, gouge, and etc. Nowadays, just worthless input from the frustrated RJ crowd. What a shame! -
