Yes, but take this into account. Go on flightaware sometime and look at all the arrivals into a major hub like ATL. Factoring in only 1 airport lets say ATL in this case where the en route aircraft compress in at the arrival corridors on a given STAR you will see the congestion begin to arise...
I would guess we are talking about an ESP like I listed before. Due to the proximity of ATL from Mobile I would guess it is because there is a lot less wiggle room on such a quick flight. Perhaps why maybe they wouldn't call for the release time knowing that the center wouldn't lock down a...
Can you give an example of origin and destination. Your obviously not talking about EDCT's so more then likely you are encountering an ESP release which is En-trail Spacing. At ORD we get this alot for MSP filed north, Detroit, and then into the New York airports. We don't coordinate a...
Doesn't bother me guys and im a controller at O'hare. Inbound, outbound, upside down, don't care. Funny that it bothers people. Keep it all up, everyone say inbound :-)
The props started coming back with those C208's flying to BRL and DEC. After that Colgan brought in the Dash, and I'm waiting to see Eagle bring the ATR's out of the Caribbean and into the BMI/CMI/MLI market. It will never happen but I'm still waiting.
used the PA44 in my initial ME addon but worked on the MEI in a C310 and a TC PA34. Although more expensive, its good to train in an aircraft in the HP category for the sole fact as that is initially the goal to go faster, further, and higher. Insurance obviously more expensive as the aircraft...
I've gotten 180 a few months ago. One of my coworkers can get alot more then me as can my sister and my sister is a stay at home mother. The only advantage I guess would be technique. Like simple rules that allow straight ins and base legs priority, and the downwinds can be extended and circled.
The only time we get the KORD..IOW.JXX.OVR..LNK..KLNK type routing is if we have to print out a suplement strip with a full route. If the NADIN likes what it see's it prints out something like ORD IOW JXX//KLNK so that is why we have no pads.

Well, here is how it worked out. I created a test flight plan at work with a flight departing O'hare going to Denver. We used ORD IOW OMA KDEN at it worked fine. As long as you don't use KOMA but OMA it works. The Omaha VOR is OVR and is 11 SE so this was a good...
I remember a few months ago I came on a website where you could basically see every tail number of pretty much every airline, and when you clicked on a tail number it would show you the history of what airlines it had flown with by serial number etc... I can't seem to recall the site. Any one...
This is true, and if that were to happen bad bad things would happen..example. USAIR and Skywest at LAX.
But I'm talking more along the lines of IFR seperation when I need 3 miles on final and end up with 2.99 or when I need 4 miles behind a 757 and end up with 3.99. The problem is the...
