This may be more appropriate in another section but no one ever seems to check them so do any of you United drivers and or someone who flies on United know the answer to my question? The 1800# was of no use!
Going to Maui next week and on the return flight from OGG to HNL my wife and I have a 7 hour layover. I promised her I would allocate enough time on the layover so she could go see Pearl Harbor. We are flying HAL from OGG to HNL and then United from HNL to ORD. I booked the inter island separately so I know we are going to have to recheck in with UAL upon arrival in HNL. How early can I check bags in with UAL? I know HNL doesn't have a place to store bags anymore post 9/11 or am I misinformed? Worst case scenario she goes to Pearl Harbor, I hang with the bags.
