The equity partnership that owns JetDirect (40N) and Summit (FRG) are behind Jet Corp too. Their goals are really BIG. Will they meet them? Time will tell. I think they want to rule the world. Putting them in the same breath as TAG is a disservice to TAG.
IMHO
I haven't been there for about 4 years, but it probably hasn't changed much. I brought 2 bottles of water for each day I was there. In town (Paramaribo) the food is good, and the drinks are pretty safe IMO. The people that I delt with were very friendly and helpful. Traffic is insane there...

I know of them, but dont know alot about them. A friend flies contract for them occasionally on their hawker and another friend on the lear. They dont have anything bad to say about the operation. They seem to like it for the most part. The owner seems to be a nice enough guy from my...
Fortunately I'm not going this year.
I do, however, have 4 King-N/S hotel rooms at the Double Tree @ DTW for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night.
Who wants them? and how much are you willing to pay?
I see on Ebay that 1 star hotel rooms are going for $1500 for a four night minimum.
Question for 45 drivers.
We are looking at getting a 45 and I was wondering what recurring issues you find with them.

Working the line, you meet the pilots and the people in the back. They are the two people you need to know. Work hard, ask questions and be helpful. Before you know it someone will taxi in in a King Air or something and need a copilot.
Alot of the pilots/airplane owners based there are...

The other guys have it right - it can be a tedious job if you end up working with complainers but it can also be very rewarding. This is the...
The original question was Lear 35 vs Encore. I stated that I thought the Encore to be a better over-all plane then the 35. So we agree.
As a side note I mentioned we were getting a 45 and I get bashed for that? Someone really thinks the Encore is a better airplane the the 45? I used to fly...
