ASA... err i mean Atlantic Southest....

I haven't seen/heard anything related to 500 airplanes or anything mentioned about a "super-regional" anywhere on any official form of company communication. The ONLY place I've seen/heard of it is on this website. So unless someone can produce evidence proving otherwise, I say you guys all got...

    AirlineApps questions (help!)

Can't quote the reg with 100% certainty, but a type rating is only required for aircraft that are over 12,500lbs MGTOW or jet powered. FWIW, under Type Rating Required Y/N, I put "yes" for the KC135 and T1, since they call in that category. Pretty sure I checked no for the tweet, because the tye...

    SkyWest

SkyWest is going mainline, replacing RJs with larger aircraft. The new ASA will be providing regional feed and taking over all SKYW RJs.

    AirlineApps questions (help!)

I'm not an active duty type, but i think it would be sufficient to include it as one entry and list your most recent unit. I don't think it would hurt you to list them, as long as you didn't bust a LOT of checkrides. I think the majority of pilots busted something at UPT at sometime... FWIW...

    Airline MIL leave and ART

Bummer. Sounds like the best way to go about it is to write a letter, explaining the full time ART status honestly, and see if they will grant you leave anyway...

So when they ask for first class medical, are they talking issued within the last 12 months? My medical is originally issued first class, but I'm at the 18 month mark due to mil leave. Military aviation medical is current of course, not that it matters...

I know at least one that did at a regional. Not sure how, since there are no "orders" and it was a technician job..... I'm hoping to have the same problem within 6 months or so! :)

    Pilot Job for the ANG

I think AirCorbra might have taken your question in another direction... If you are simply wanting to become a pilot in the guard, then yes, civillians can apply, you do not have to be prior service. If hired, you will become a member of the military and have to go through the normal military...
