I did my private ME at the school in Texas, $995 (now $1295) for ME.
I don't understand OEI??
I did my Instrument in the Skymaster, and they were initially going to limit me to CLT, but since I was private ME, conventional, they made it Instrument conventional ME.
The challenge, as I see...
Two (2) questions.
If I want to go get my commercial, and I have no interest in flying single engine commercial, who teaches that.
Can I take my commercial ME in my Skymaster, or will I then end up with CLT limitation? I do not have that limitation currently. Currently I am simple ME and...
It was a v tail bonanza, and according to flight aware, had been up for about 4 hours.
No other data, except two were airlifted to a hospital, and one passenger was walking around.
Hope they are going to be well.

First,
An upgrade for XP keeps 98, and overwrites some files, ending up with XP. It takes considerably more disk space than a clean install of XP, since it doesn't completely wipe out 98. It is also considerably more expensive than the upgrade is.
Second.
I have a lot of users running 98...
You actually can't get 2000.
There are significant differences between 98 and XP, but I have several users who still use 98, and will continue to do so, until I get them new computers. XP has some flaws, and if you do decide to install it, get the full version, format the drive, and install...
I was in MO, someplace, can't remember, and the car was an official county car, no drive. Leave it in 2nd. Reverse it had to think about, for a long time, and then when it started to move, it didn't like it.
The best was in NY, again someplace I can't remember, there was no crew car, the...
MIE,
You can taxi up to the restaurant, get a cold one (coke!! ), your passengers can order from a fantastic wine and beer list, walk back out and get in the air.
Their tuna was fabulous.
OSH
The Hilton has a nice lunch, and you can taxi up to the hotel (except during Airventure)...
I remember day 1 being a cram course, a 12 hour day, wondering if I was going to remember it all the next day.
Yes, please tell us how it is going for you.
Yeah, it was a pretty picture.
Money is good, as much as he has is even better.
However, back to the question.
For some strange reason, I thought that aircraft that regularly operated in the United States have to be registered here.
Oh, and on Flight Aware, he went from VQQ, to LGA, at 28000...
Monday night, replayed tonight, episode featured his 727. I was suprised to see that his 727 is registered as VP-BDJ.
Isn't he supposed to have it registered in the US, if it is based in the US?
Or maybe it's based in Cayman's, just spends most of it's time in NY.
I remember the movie, and the books. He was a great writer. An inspiration to a lot of people.
I don't know more about him, after WWII. Does anyone else?
The whole job description, in advance, is a thing fostered by endless cases involving workmen's compensation, attorneys ("wrongful termination"), state and federal mediation boards.
They put all that stuff there so that when someone gets hired, they can't say they can't lift 30 pounds.
I was...
I'm reminded.
I was taking my PP lessons, when I lost my son. It was a horrible time. A couple of weeks later, I went back for a lesson. All the troubles lifted, I concentrated on flying, and the joy of being in the air. I can still remember that night, as if it was yesterday. Things got...
Actually, not the case, unless the rental is dry. If the limit switch reaches the point where it activates the tach, usually somewhere around 1000, or 1200 RPM, then it is just a hobbs meter that isn't going to charge you for taxiing around the field.
Once the tach is activated, it matters not...
