    767 drivers... here's a rare pic

Sorry Captain, the way it was worded sounded at first like you are an FO. :0

    767 drivers... here's a rare pic

Huh? Did ANA move the hyd panel to the right? All 767/757s I've seen have it over the captain's head.

At Delta all we touch is the pneumatics, engines and APU. However, the PM does the preflight stuff on the panel.

    767 drivers... here's a rare pic

It looks like almost everything from the overhead panel is on there. However, some of the stuff from the current P61 panel are not. It also looks like the TMC panel is there too. BTW, the 767 was designed to use all round dials as an option. New fangled glass cockpits and all.

NWA signs 10 year agreement to fly NBA/NHL teams with 7 A319s...

I used to fly that plane. It was Pace Airlines before the whole Hooters thing ruined it all. Ted Turner actually owned the plane and he leased the crews from Peidmont-Hawthorne Aviation dba Pace Airlines. We also had planes for the Hornets, Wizards, and Nicks. All were 737-200 basics but...

    APA Pilot Running for Congress

There is also a Delta 767 captain running as an independent in Alabama for Congress. Unfortunately, I can't remember his name.

What is so bad about CAL?

Add in there the rest of the XJT MEC that is now at CAL as well as the CALALPA SPC (both airlines) from the same time period and you now have Union leadership with, well, leadership. Good luck yall. Not aiming this at you but, since he was mentioned, it is amazing how much flak Neal and the...

    Seniority by Date of Hire

Just so we get our facts straight, Those '97 hires that are 767 captains are LAX. NYC, ATL, and CVG 7ER and 767 go to '91 hires.

    CAL mess

Don't think the IACP did a great job. CAL has a people problem, not a Union problem.

    DAL Uniforms

Here's my take on the leather jacket thing. First, I had one at XJT and rather liked it for the first few years. But, my last few years for some reason I never wore it. Now, for my point, the XJT pilot group had the most "ununiform" uniform in the industry. We all looked different because...

Chart on fall schedule cuts, Virgin down 10%, Delta cuts more & Midwest down 30%

Plan on it! All the fellas that I flew with ragged me about going domestic. They said I wouldn't last long and I would be crawling back to the ER. They were right. However, I can land the 75 pretty good now :).

Chart on fall schedule cuts, Virgin down 10%, Delta cuts more & Midwest down 30%

ATL 767B, former NYC 7ER (even with the greenslips I miss the ER, domestic is too much work :) )

Ditto. Now, let's hope that does not backfire and we have to furlough. So far, I've really enjoyed my three greenslips this month. Managed to turn 50 hours of flying into 90 hours of credit.

    ALPA/401k revisited

Actually, that's what those numbers include. TOTAL compensation. Health care, 401k, pension, expense reimbursement, and everything else that has a monetary value (like work rules).

    ALPA/401k revisited

I believe Congress is corrupt. Should we dump the House and Senate? Get rid of the national structure? Local only governing? 1860 all over again?

    Seniority by Date of Hire

The point of the exercise with CAL and XJT has nothing to do with size of airplane but, with size of paycheck and career expectations. Here is another one. SWA merges with United. A five year captain at SWA makes more than a 747 captain at UAL. A three year SWA copilot makes more than a...
