4 people got hired. only one I know personally. Had Hawker and GIV time and about 3500hrs. And he deserved it. Starts, I believe, July 23, 24 or something.
it was either 644SP or 6445P. something like that. Apparently was trying to land in Mena, AR and had gear problems and decided to go to LIT. Just decided to slide it in I guess. No other info available
Thats ignorant. That's like saying, "It's not IF a doctor will one day amputate the wrong, it's WHEN." I'm not the best pilot in the world and am not free of mistakes by any strech of the imagination, but I hope and pray it (forget to extend landing gear) will never happen to me.
Okay, if wing sweep can lead to excessive stablilty and anhedral is the fix for this. How does that compare a highly sweep wing of a Citation X which has dihedral. I understand there are many diffferent aerodynamic forces in both of these planes which the average person will not know, but I...
Thanks for the link. It only explains anhedral on high-wing a/c to increase roll manuevering not low wing. So does that still mean that falcons are too stable?
If dihedral is designed on an a/c for stablility. Why do Falcon jets have so much anhedral? Is it too stable? Both Wings and tail. Please explain otherwise I'm goin to Dassult! :) Thanks
Something to think about on the "no batteries needed" flashlights is that some (if not all) do use batteries. When you generate power (shake, crank, whatever) you are transfering electricity to the batteries (charging if you will) which in turn power the bulb for a while. If there were no...
In the summer (CAVU), I don't turn on any heat items till 10K. I leave them on until decending through 10K. During the winter (even during CAVU), I turn everything on when I get cleared for T/O. I turn them off when I get off the runway or if when decending, I note that it is ~+10 C or above and...
I would like opionions on the "hot 5" I have been flying King Air 90's and 200's for a while now and occationally will have a 2 pilots on board. It seems as though a few people think the "hot 5" are pitot heat left, pitot heat right, Fuel vent heat left, fuel vent heat right, and stall warning...
Did training there about 6 years ago as well. Good school, good fleet of planes, good mx. Lots of great and different places to fly to. Only thing I would not recommend is the guarantee. Otherwise, I'd do it all over again the same way
If you would like to experience first hand the misuse of funds by FEMA, check out M18 which is Hope, AR. Just about 20 miles NE of TXK (texarkana, ar) They have (at last visit) about 10,000 mobile homes that are being "stored" at the airport. They are still being delievered at the rate of one...
Threads like this make me so happy to be a flightinfo member:) Knock it off you guys. You don't have to prove a damn thing to each other unless you're insecure about your job and where you live. Be happy for what you have.

I fly a C90A with the TRAD (Turbine Research and Development) conversion. It has the -35 engines and with the pitot cowls I see 260kts. Climbs very well in the even in the low 20's. If the torque limits and temps are the same as in the TRAD as they are in the c90GT, you will see that you have...
KBNA-Razz's. Be sure to read the article about the restaurant when you get there-kinda interesting. The girls at Mercury can tell you how to get there. At KMEM there is a Deli just down the street that Wilson Air always gets catering from is really good. It has bars on the front of the windows...
This site has some pretty good deals on dells. Hope it helps.
The dell inspirion 6000 has great battery life if you get the centrino chip. I can get 5-6 hours with my screen on low and a 9-cell battery ($100 option)
