XJ to NWA flow-new thread without the crap

An excellent point. Can anyone name a flowthrough/flowback agreement that benefited the regionals and its pilots? AMR - No CAL - No USAirways - No Remember, the airline industry is highly cyclical and once a decade hits a major downturn that usually results in massive flowbacks. 70s - Arab...

    Wanted: Twin flying job

You live in NC? Hop in your car, drive up to Salisbury, MD. Demand (politely) to talk with HR, Pilot Recruitment and the Chief Pilot at Piedmont and don't take no until they interview you.

How the heck did you get the 60 hours of RJ sim time?

    Wanted: Twin flying job

Okay, okay, we get the picture! (When Daviator made that ill-phrased comment, I knew a platoon of flamethrowers would show up) Not yet. In a month I'll have my commercial-multi-instrument and be at about 350/25. Although I know those are extremely low, I may apply with one of the...

    Regions Air????

I think I saw that on an episode of Star Trek. From the planet Zirconia. Zirconian management took over the Enterprise.

    Mesaba upgrades

Apparently someone had a sign at the game tonight that said "We want Liebrandt". Was that you, SplitBar?

    Mesaba upgrades

Not sure who I'm happier for: Mesabi Miner and all the other long-suffering XJ FOs for finally and deservedly making Captain, or SplitRock for watching the Twins come back from two runs down in the ninth to beat the hated Braves! Congrats to all the XJ new and soon-to-be left seaters! You...

    Mesa Reserve Hell

http://youtube.com/watch?v=vQpVI_aldB0&search=aircraft Ah, the legendary Bob Hoover! Gotta love it! Bob always emphasized (as seen in the videos) that the barrel roll is a basic one-G maneuver that can be done in any aircraft. Try doing it sometime with pax aboard! Some of you may recall...

    American Eagle Seminar in Raleigh

Given the volatility of the industry (furloughs, bankruptcies, etc.), the ever-present risk of losing your medical, the value of having a 4-year degree just as a career fallback alone makes it a smart move. I'd hate to lose my medical in mid-career and not have any qualifications for any other...

    Pinnacle's Aggressive Pilot Recruitment Program

Check some other recent threads. Simply put: Lots. Not yet. Yes. Yes. Yes - I believe 15 -900s for Delta this fall. And no. I think losing 15 -200s to Mesaba, but I think those planes were parked and not flying anyways or something.

Getting on at ASA, likely, and what's their story?

American for many years never had a PIC requirement. Sadly, they recently changed their requirements.

    Great online pilot supplies store

Needed to get the Gleim ATP course materials in a hurry. Sporty's wanted $30 for overnight delivery just for one CD!! Found pilotessentials.com. They had a lower price for the Gleim stuff, and half the cost of overnight delivery! I know where I'm getting my pilot supplies from now on!
