http://www.irs.gov/publications/p17/ch26.html More info on "Special rate for transportation workers"...looks like $59/day or $65 for international. In my case lot of places per GSA rates are $46-51/day -

New ASA bases and fences
Agree. Maybe I'm wrong but there were no fences at Delta/NWA after SOC other than 777/747 are fenced off for a while. Anyone? -

2009 tax year per diem rate????
Thanks for the link. I used to do mine with city/state rate which turned out to be around $1000 less per year than the IRS transportation worker rate. However I don't see the dates and rates you mentioned anywhere on that publication... -

It was $52/day in 2008, I have not bee able to find 2009 rates, seems like IRS has not updated Pub. 463 since. Therefore I assume the $52/day is still in effect, however I'm not a tax professional. -
