And, yes, while a lot of us have moved on to majors and feel less compelled to participate, some of us just grew up.
I cannot agree with this statement enough and I would love to see such a program implemented. Both sides could stand to better understand the the role of the other and to see, firsthand, the outcomes of decisions made by the other.
You might consult the school from which you earned your certificate to see if they offer any kind of recurrent. I know some schools have offered "lifetime recurrent training" in the past. Of course, whether or not those schools are still in business is a whole other story...
If the idea is to, indeed, move toward non-branded, multi-code operations in smaller cities/short-hops/slightly-harder-to-get-to places, a large turboprop makes infinitely more sense than an E170 or CRJ7.
This has been Chippy's dream for years. He was talking about transitioning to this model back in 2008. I just think he screwed up by not going after a new large turboprop for such an operation.
