    Delta Fleet Plans ?

    I'm thinking the MD-90's will prly hang around. Nearly a third of the -88 fleet is leased, so it makes sense those would go when leases expire. And I suspect the remaining -88's are coming up on big airframe checks.... All a guess....

    I depends on the models. Early models of both are very similar. However, once you start comparing an early model of one to a later model of another, the differences become larger...ie, fuel system, triple fed bus vs. dual fed, etc....

    DPJ is a charter operation. If I recall correctly, they are using a Comair certificate in which to place the airplanes. And there you go....

    I have a good friend who is a 15-year FO and is on a wide-body at a legacy....lives in base, and fully expects, by choice, to retire from that seat due to QOL decisions... And not bitching...;-)

    I think the upgrade time factors more when considering an LLC, rather than at a legacy as in your example above. At the legacy, you'll have the opportunity to make more simply by staying in your seat on a large plane.....

    With all due-respect V1, I believe the US/AW ruling, and US's subsequent actions, have shown that binding-arbitration, as you describe above, 'ain't worth the paper the arbitrator typed it on'. Now, if the Nic list is sent to the APA, I'll stand corrected and send you a case of your fav.... ;-)
