More info on "Special rate for transportation workers"...looks like $59/day or $65 for international.
In my case lot of places per GSA rates are $46-51/day

Page 6 " Special rate for transportation workers". However this 2009 pub and I'm not sure if it has been updated for 2010...maybe pub mentioned above will give you better rates.

Exactly, Vietnam is not part of JAA, mostly EU countries only, plus some non-EU like Ukraine or Croatia to name few. Then again, just about any country is ICAO member state.

Thanks for the link. I used to do mine with city/state rate which turned out to be around $1000 less per year than the IRS transportation worker rate. However I don't see the dates and rates you mentioned anywhere on that publication...
It was $52/day in 2008, I have not bee able to find 2009 rates, seems like IRS has not updated Pub. 463 since. Therefore I assume the $52/day is still in effect, however I'm not a tax professional.
