As I understand it a RBBB and a LBBB are quite different in the way that they are interpreted (in terms of levels of risk). RBBB being the less riskier.
Would a LBBB mean a restriction on a 1st class medical (if even allowed to be issued one)?
Can anyone tell me if LBBB (Left Bundle Branch Block) on an ECG/EKG is a disqualifying cause for a 1st class medical? If so, if there any hope of getting a 1st class medical? If so how and what would need to be done?
Hello, just a quick question, but would anyone happen to have the NBAA figures for pay on the Hawker 400XP based in the mid east for both FO and Captain please. Thanks.
I know exactly what you're saying and I agree with you. Though one thing that I have to disagree with is that the difficulty of flying the aircraft has NO correlation with pay (it makes me sad to say). I made more as a flight instructor in a 152 than I do flying an RJ. I know people in 737/320's...
Errrr.... how can Brits apply to YOUR airlines exactly? Unless they're permanent residents or citizens of the US they can't last time I checked. Don't be fooled, there are Americans who fly for BA, Ryanair and EasyJet. You just don't know of them.
If you have 'sufficient experience' you can just take the checkride with no prior training. Well, in that case you will have to hire the aircraft in which you are rated in. That will cost LOADS. Then you will have to pay for the UK CAA to come and sit in on the checkride. If this is done in a...
All of the guys I know who did the 250 hour Ryanair gig have so far over the past 6 years made tonnes more than me. Tonnes more. Quite a few of the guys left Ryanair and moved to the Mid East or to other airlines in the UK. On the high end I know of two guys doing $12k a month tax free in Dubai...
Yes, I think that is how it's viewed. 250 hours in a 737 and 250 hours in an RJ - same risk. I agree with you that I personally don't think that it should happen. But it does. To be honest with you all of my friends who did their JAA licenses they all got jobs on Boeing or Airbus products at 250...
Ryanair have hired in many different ways in the past. At current they're hiring FO's though 'Brookfield Aviation'. They are a staffing company. Fresh 250hr guys go though them and pay for their 'sim assessment' then if selected they are then asked to pay about $40,000 for a 737NG type rating...
It was a CRJ-100. Yeah, sad to hear folks having their legs lost. Sometimes, hearing stuff likes this kinda puts it all in perspective. Even the crapiest day sure beats having no limbs. Prayers with them.
Quick question.... Am wanting to go from IAD - Kuwait City (KWI) next week. Flight looks wide open.
Now I know that we can list on expressnet to go, but there are fees and what not associated. I would like to know, is it possible to turn up to the gate and request the 'Jumpseat'. Now I know...
I'm assuming it doesn't work. Qatar is not a JAA member state and hence does not require a JAA ticket. They probably (am assuming) convert your current license to a Qatari national one. FAA seems to be working just fine there. Seems to be plenty of folks that have been hired there with an FAA...
In the first post didn't it state that an FAA/ICAO license would be alright? Clarify with Parc if an ICAO works, and if it does then FAA is good enough.
No, I haven't updated in ages. I'm around 4000TT, +2500 Turbine. But totally understand, there are many people with more time/experience out there who would have a look in before me.
Doesn't really belong here, but though it'd be fun to share. 600 Jet Airwasy pilots call in sick in support of their two colleagues, who have been apparently sacked for daring to form the National Aviators Guild.

I sent it to them both ways. Got the emails out and then got one sent out to them USPS and..... yes, I guess it should have been with them by now. The guy at the post office said a week (max). Could anyone shed a little light?
How long to get a response?
Typically how long does it take them to get back to you with a response? I sent mine about 2 weeks ago also and haven't heard anything back from them as yet. Also, this application, does it give you an invite up to the roadshow or do they invite you out to Doha to...
Who cares anyways?? Just get rid of the old, fat and ugly ones. Why is it all the other airlines around the world have classy ones. Virgin, Singapore, Thai, Korean, Emirates...... why can't we in the US step it up out there on this front. I refuse to believe we're lacking talent in that...
