Options is going away in name only. We are flying "your" globals, gulfstreams, and phenoms. Flexjet is nothing more than a legacy name that have been corrupted by non other than Uncle Kenn himself. He is the ultimate used car salesman that will promise anything to the Flex pilots in an effort to not have them revolt. Anybody wake up yet?

More likely someone from the union. They have thin skin for any suggestion Options is being "wound down" despite the fact everyone is reminded this is Kenn's promise to every Flexjet pilot he talks to.

And you believe him? Really, after everything we've been through? Do you believe his "promises "? What else has he promised that hasn't seen the light of day?

No I don't believe him. But his delusions are simply a forecast of how much more contentious and screwed up this will get.

You union people need to get a clue regarding how much more ********************ed up this is going to get. And you need to get a clue for how much damage you incur by not addressing how ********************ed up it is to have leadership on red label. That is probably the #1 reason for lackluster support. Why bother when it really is a ********************ing free for all of cuckolds from the top down?

Have you seen Weiss' new email thay speaks out of both sides of his mouth? They will stop at nothing to trash the union even in the face of irrefutable evidence THEY are the ones causing issue.

I love how he admitted seniority means nothing and how he refuses to acknowledge straight forwardly that what the company presented to the union as their gold standard icba was a step down for Flexjet.

Oh and read between the lines. Flexbid is gone. Theres a reason that was the only section they avoided the pilots seeing.

Ask him for it in writing - management's true intention regarding Flexbid. You'll get crickets.

If you want Flexbid youre only hope is the union.

I imagine this thread gets deleted by noon.

No surprise Flexbid is gone. The guys at the top(the 20 or so) already got their payoff so there is little union support from them. So should the union cater to the nonMIGS? That would be really doom the union. Uncle Kenn doesn't like Flexbid anyway. He really wants the 8/7. The 7/7 was negotiated at the expense of the 16+2. The Options pilots have been on this roller coaster for decades.

GC I disagree. There are plenty in the top 50 who have not been treated well and they know it. The issue really is about dues for these guys.

In actuality I observe very few people who are truly anti union. The majority are just cheap and angry. Its a hard pill to swallow for them to surrender dues when someone who is 100 or 150 positions junior to them, serving on a union committee, is making twice their pay and yet asking them for that sacrifice.

The biggest issue now is the no vote regarding the contract due to arbritration. They don't get how they screwed themselves into a corner on that one.

Everyone who sees this post needs to spread the message far and wide: the evidence of what Kenn thinks a non red label pilot is worth is Options scales and rules. It is what he presented. We are flying the exact same trips, passengers and metal. Weiss claims Red Label is a resounding success yet they refuse to show the proof.

Kenn has said in his books and lectures he believes in transparency, especially financial transparency. Yet another lie. Where is the spreadsheet of every red label tail that will help us understand why we should overwhelmingly desire that as our model and pay structure? He promised in his book it was ours for the asking. Where is it?

By the way, have you looked at a red label plane lately? The damn things are looking crappier than my college beater. They're making bonuses by ignoring basic maintenance.

Flex bid is history. The only hope of that staying was the union. But all the Flex IGMs squashed any hope of that with the like of solidarity. But they will blame the union and not see that it was actually Flex pilots that killed their own schedule. LMFAO. And they have been told from day one that KR would never go for a Flex bid but they believed his lies. LMFAO, What KR wants really is a 8/6 but that has only been whispered in closed circles. However once the union is decertified anyone wanna bet a years salary that will be everyone's new schedule ? Everything that has been said the last almost 3 years now has happened or slowly happening. And it would have all happened if the union hasn't been around to stand in their way. Flex is looking at a huge paycut. You don't like paying dues????? Wait tilll you take a 50k+ hit a year. Wishing all the crews that don't want to pull together a very unhappy New Year. It's coming. But hey look at the bright side you all got new uniforms and you get to keep the Flexjet name. That's all that really matters

This simply isn't true. First off, KR has told us many times, and I heard it directly from him, that he likes Flexbid after learning about the benefits to the company. Second, one of the negotiating reports said "the company made it clear that they want to keep flexbid". And third, and most importantly, his preferred schedule is evidently the make-your-own as that is what he has implemented for the red label. If he liked 8/6 (or whatever) then thats what he would have demanded for the new fleets. But he didn't. The union proposal of a combo of 7/7 and flexbid seems to be a good compromise. Personally I wouldn't mind if the make-your-own someone gets into the contract as well but my brain hurts just thinking about how to make that work.

And in response to someone else posting about red label not doing well, what's your source on that? I'm not part of the program but I'm still rooting for the sales department. According to the recent email we are evidently on track for record sales. Sounds like it is doing well to me.

And for my third mini-rant, I don't agree with the "you'd better support the union or you're going to lose XYZ" argument several people keep pushing. Trying to get support by spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt is not effective. Stick to facts.

Hey club I got a bridge for sale real cheap. Your gonna make millions on this deal I promise. You are the most gullible person I have ever seen. It's actually scary. KR is lying. Look up the definition of the word lying please. Wow how can somebody be that dumb, naive , gullible ???? I will bet any amount of money you wish that Flex bid has been flushed down the toilet with the rest of Flexjet. Minus the name. KR wants a 8/6 he is telling his most trusted soldiers that. Problem is a secret is no longer a secret as soon as you tell someone. No matter what I say or anyone else you will refuse to see what's right in front of your face. And when it's gone you will still believe it's coming back. Club you must be a salesman biggest dream when you walk into a car dealership.

If he wants 8/6, then why isn't he doing that now on red label? Are you suggesting he's letting everyone get cozy with the make-your-own and then one day he will simply say "nope just kidding, you're all 8/6 now."?

anywat it doesn't matter. My point is you won't have any luck convincing people to support the union based on speculation and the fear of losing something. That sales tactic isn't working very well as less than half the flex pilots are paying their dues. So be a better salesman. Deal in facts.
