Your less than perfect small airline was bought by a less than perfect bigger airline...the CEO of the combined airline crafted the SLI (two actually)....the deals been done for years now but there remains discontent and a few choose to use this forum to "exchange views"...Captain Webb and a few others view themselves as the fierce defenders of the Tran...and dispellers of the. notion that SWA is all that great (especially compared to the now defunct Tran)....understandably, a few RSW folks who were willingly hired by SWA disagree...sure there is ego involved...but also pride in your own company...I know it makes little sense, especially when one company is gone....but that is human nature...

Wow a gay joke

So you're not only have Captain envy

You are also a bigot and a racist. SWA is sure lucky to have you .

1) I wasn't joking.

2) That doesn't make me either of those two things

3) Your response tells me all I need to know about you. :crying:

Have a nice day ..... Somewhere else.

Your employer must love you A walking lawsuit .

Enjoy your life with all your bigot buddies.

People like you disgusting me .

Yep.

Blueside, you are wrong. There are plenty of guys making less, I am just one of them.

As PCL pointed out, the losses were not just financial; I lost my seat, my base, and a heck of a lot of pay over the last nine months.

I'm not b1tching about it, just trying to clear up some malingering misconceptions. If you want to keep posting about how we all made out like bandits, expect to hear the other side of it.

Oh please! I schooled you on how wrong you were and the only come back is that we tried to steal you seniority.

This is the airlines and people lose their seat and get kicked out of base all the time. You will upgrade and the small amount of pay you lost will come back 100 fold over your career here but I doubt that will keep you from bitching about how you were inconvenience for a little while.

As for those "PLENTY" of guys you say are making less there are hundreds if not thousands for every one guy making less that are making more than when they were at the Tran.

There is also many thousands that don't have to commute or have a much easier/shorter commute as they have 9 bases to chose from as compared to the tran.

Like I said you think it is all about you and never mind the fact that the over 85% of the airtran people benefited greatly from the merger either through financial, better contract or closer/no commute you seem to think that just because you didn't get everything you want and the kitchen sink that somehow this was a bad deal for airtran.

So please stop this woe is me BS and complaining about pay as the VAST MAJORITY ARE MAKING A LOT MORE THAN THEY WERE BEFORE.

Oh BTW I got nothing out of this deal except I now get to retire at 70% less seniority that I would have before the purchase.

P.S. As for PLC I don't respond to you unless it involves moving mobile homes as you were a hack before you left and now are just a wannabee hack now that you have left.

You and I are never going to agree, so I will just take comfort in the your words quoted above.

Have a nice rest of your career. I'll try to do the same.

The reason I am "defending the Tran" is because you keep bringing it up, fool. Stop bringing it up, and see what happens.

I am happy at SWA . . . in fact, I would venture to say that I am happier than you are right now. Perhaps that's because you chose to upgrade, and I chose to stay senior FO. Either way, you probably need to find a different outlet for your frustrations than coming on here and bitching about FAT guys.

Over and Out.
