Are you that clueless Genny? Really?

I'll try to speak real slow so you can follow along.

Delta got a new competitor in their backyard for selling those to AirTran.

Southwest gets 300 Million a year in savings every year for the deal.

A slight difference you don't seem to understand. Idiot.

DL got a competitor in ATL? You guys have fewer flights total now in ATL than when AT was there. You shrunk AT's marketshare. Thanks! And how much does it cost to train all the AT pilots and FAs for a year or more onto the 737? They aren't paying for the type, which means you're losing money you normally get from suckers already. Then throw in the $100+ million to clean up the planes, and replace the lost lift with used 737s you've found on the market, and it probably might be a financial wash. Add the pizzed off AT pilots, and it's a FAIL. Too bad Red.......

Not to take sides in this latest silly diaper delight but, actually Hawaiian does also fly them.

And Volotea in Europe, Qantas Link in Australia, and Blue1 in Finland. Rumor has it the Corndog wanted to back out of part of the DL deal to sell some of the 717s to Qantas Link for more money, and it was DENIED....... Ooooops..

You can't even explain your own comment Shaun

What is this now, look Jenni has a parrot! Or is this just another putz alias replacing OnYourSix and Mercyful Has to be as most real pilots can think for their selves.

Being a Commercial Pilot is a profession. I have great loyalty to my profession. not so much a company. I'm one of many professions that a company must use to make money. Becoming a cheer leader for one company or "my" company gets dangerous. I'm an expense to any company that I work for because I "my wages" interfere with a profit margin. Always know where you stand in the food chain of capitalism. GL, you are very smart, observant and have a lot of free time on your hands. That I appreciate, But you have become a cheer leader, which divides the ranks of my profession. Remember, cheer leaders were usually the first ones everyone wanted to bend over in high school.

Really? Why do you resort to childish name calling? Lots of Corndogs do that apparently. "Lots of time on your hands" means "I don't know, so I'll just slam you." Ever heard of an Android or IPhone? You can frequent your favorite website from anywhere, at anytime.

This is an anonymous board, it always has been. That's part of the entertainment of this board. Some people get wrapped around the axel and go "Nuts" when someone points out obvious differences between different companies. It's ok to be a "super fan" as long as you can back up what you type. I can, and that really frustrates guys like Redflyer.

It's too bad you cannot see this board for what it is. Oh well.

I complimented you. the fact you are always on here was the reason why I said you have time on your hand. I'm not going nuts about anything either. Getting up set at someone who is "anonymous" on a message board, is like getting upset with a telemarketer....

Thanks for the complement. I do enjoy this board, the industry rumors, and the banter. Some people don't like that. But, I appreciate your understanding, and I'm sorry if my previous response was a bit rude. Have a great day TC.

Can you read?

Please go back an look at my post. You guys sold equipment to a start up called ValuJet. Then that exploded into AirTran right in your backyard.

Completely different that us sub-leasing 717's to Delta. We aren't helping and upstart competitor and top of that we are saving over 300 million every year.

Huge difference between the two events. You get that right?

Were did I ever post about a type rating and AirTran pilots not being happy? Ahhh, I get it...you have to add some 'fluff' to every argument so you 'appear to be winning'. Stay on topic doosh.
