Bankruptcy and shredding of contracts and retirements have paid off hansomely for Delta.

Anyone here in the USA is free to do that. This is the land of second , or even third, chances. If you don't like that, move to the ME. Hopefully you won't have to go through that, but if you do, there is BK "protection."

Bye Bye---General Lee

So has outsourcing.

Wonder how much Skywest/republic/compass profit none of their pilots will share in bc it goes to mainline profits and DALPA profit sharing.

Way to line some of your pockets with te efforts of others.

How are you guys different than welfare ???

Be sure NOT to bid'em then.....you know...on principal and all..

Who said anything about not bidding them. Really? Grow up....
Enjoy the Delta enema you got DTW. Not everything this crew is doing works...

Really wave? You couldn't pass on this thread?

But read the line above it, buy widebodies with cash. There will be used 773s out there that DL can pick up, and the DL pilots do have limits on JVs. Those limits have been exceeded, and from this upcoming May they have 1 year to become "compliant." If they don't negotiate, then they have to add about 9 daily widebodies per day. (With AF/KL/AZ Joint Venture). I really doubt DALPA will give in on that, unless there was huge upside for the pilots. I also think DALPA is aware of the DPA, and they have to be a little bit more aggressive, and I think they have been with the 117 stuff so far. Cautiously optimistic.....

Bye Bye---General Lee

GL,

There has been that rumor out there for years but nothing ever official about 777-3s. I hope you are right about holding them to the JV limits, but as our weak contract language shows, there is no penalty for non-compliance, or it may come down to a negotiated settlement at ALPAs convenience.

I did.

You said that buying them for cash was a "big whoop". My point is that you cherry picked the 787 comment and claimed it means they don't want more/new widebodies and completely ignored the comment above it that they will pay cash for new widebodies. Way to manipulate your little anti-DAL agenda there.

And a Delta enema??? Well, something got shoved up there back in the SLI, but it wasn't an enima......but that's a whole other thread!!

Try to cheer up. Things could be a lot worse. If it's that bad maybe you and db should apply to your dream airline...

And the general will have to put his PJs on in front of the business pax as he now has to sleep in 3B because he decided to get rid of the private pilot sleeping quarters for a 2% pay raise. Isn't this right, general?
We don't have private pilots at DAL.
And I see you still can't understand our pay rate percentages.
It's gotta be tough being that stupid. Good Luck to you..

It's been a historical dilemma; ALPA uses the poker analogy as an excuse to never reveal to the pilot group what their own goals were. Why have they never used an independent audit to confirm that the pilot groups will was followed ? It should be simple enough - Pay an independent firm to assess the goals of the group, per the pre contract survey, then assess whether they reached them or not.

Since nobody seems to trust ALPA National and their mysterious surveys - why don't they use an independent firm to audit their own success, or lack thereof ? Thereby proving that the vocal minority are wrong, and the mustache wearing, outsource loving, RLA suckling scum in Herndon are right.

:D

Hammer on nail. Unfortunately for DTW (or maybe fortunately for her), you can't fix stupid.

Oh now you are giving out career advice? Well we are all stocked up here with condescending statements.

Anti-Delta? Hardly...its called trust but verify

If someone questions management, you turn to a common defense mechanism. Denial.
Please tell me you have something else in your comments that could prove me wrong.

So has pay for training, lousy benefits, and no retirement plans to begin with. Low cost ******************** holes such as southworst have ruined the industry and changed it forever. You azzwipes were the skirts pushing for age 65. Enjoy your 18 year 737 f/o position. Strangely enough, doosh bags like you are willing to sellout to pay for your job, and then even funnier, pay to fly the rj you so blatantly tourette over!
