I've been hearing some rumors that they lost their authorization to fly the WATRS routes. Something about mx record keeping and FA training? According to flightaware, both BWI-SJU flights today hugged the coast. Hmm...

Not what the company is putting out.... Class II will happen weekly on Saturdays...(to maintain the authorization, I believe Chk Pilot only as CP on these routes), 800's being used in CONUS...pls correct anyone, but that is my understanding...

800 are the only aircraft with HF/SATCOM/Rafts. Better yield on transcons. There were some FA training issues, but not a player.

Approval has been complete. Exactly what Rockwell says. Much higher yields for the 800s on transcon flights. Using the 700s adds about 20 minutes on a non-WATRS route.

What others have said, during shoulder season using only 700s on the route so no waters in them.

Actually, Frog, you're right. SWAPA had it done, specifically to "further screw the AirTran pilots." That's how we roll.

You are correct. Direct from sources, -800's making boatloads of money in the CONUS so they decided to use them there. Supposedly we are going to have a killer 3rd Quarter!

The whole thing was mostly flamebait from Frog.

He's already stated on here that he will be resentful for life. Sounds wonderful.
