Anyone have the inside information?

If they haven't changed it in 6 yrs, it's basically ALL personality-based and tell-me-about-a-time stories. I interviewed there in 07 and was offered a class but ended up turning it down. Hopefully someone with more recent gouge will chime in.

Weren't you just trashing allegiant a few months ago?? I thought this airline was too dangerous for you??

Just be yourself... I'm sue you will do fine

Hey, if you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!!!!

I don't really think its considered trash talking if its backed up with facts! Let's face it, its no big secret that Allegiant has been known to have some MX issues from time to time. Its reported in the media every couple of weeks.

On the flight deck I would call that whining! My gouge would be to prepare yourself to make the distinction between trash talk and facts when you are asked that specific question in your interview.

"Have your morals ever been compromised?" was one of their questions.

Does Allegiant's pay still suck?

Never mind, I checked and yes it does.

When you are being interviewed why don't you bring up a few of the many issues that you are on here talking about? That will go over really good.

If you think he's actually going to an interview I've got a bridge to sell you.

OK, I'll make sure to print off the weekly news articles to back up my information! Facts are facts even if you don't want to acknowledge them! :bomb:

Chuckles, start another thread this one is dead. Meanwhile I'll be putting you on my ignore list.

Only a TOOL like you would even know what an "ignore list" is! By the way, you look good in that new allegiant commercial! How did you ever land that gig? :p

Hey, when did you guys open up Oakland? Airbus or Maddog? What routes? When is the hiring window going to open?

Thanks.

Interviews going on now.

Oakland only has 3 captains and 2 FOs.

Forget about the West Coast for at least a year or two after you get hired. Keep in mind schedules are 10 days off a month on reserve with Tuesdays and Saturdays off. Uncommutable. You must move to Florida if hired.

Word is that the class has been pushed back a week. Dates should be firmed up this week and calls going out shortly afterwards.

Are they still hiring into the MD80 or have they started some Airbus classes yet? How many Airbus aircraft expected to arrive over the next year or so? I thought I read that IWA and SFB were the first recipients.

All classes are still planned as MD80. But so far 3 of the current 80 NHs have bid and been awarded PIE Airbus. And with the latest AB bid, more NHs may end up going to it from that class. On the FO side the Bus in FL is going very jr. Last few in SFB have been JA to it as far as I know. The plan for this year is 3 A319s in IWA and the 7 A320s go to FL. Haven't heard the split, but word going around was 4 to SFB and 3 to PIE.

If you plan on coming to Allegiant, expect to be in Florida for three years, and once you do get west coast based, be prepared to be TDY'd for 6-8 months out of the year.
