So you're saying they already have a facilities plan for a transaction that hasn't even closed?

It's time to go to DEFCON 2.

Did you know they just renewed the lease and remodeled at the Waterview?

Maybe it means something maybe not.

That is a good sign your offices could be leaving. Remember, this is aviation. AT&T spent a lot of money renovating a hanger they didn't own only to move the company from San Antonio to Dallas. Of course, the renovated another hanger complex!

As a former FlexJetter I wish you all the best and hope the brand stays strong.

The benefits you are currently receiving from Bombardier will be taken away. Count on it. Before long a group of pilots from Flex will approach the 1108 to organize the Flex pilots.

I'd guess Flex pilots will lose something after the sale, how much is the question.

I'd very surprised if any changes happened right away and shocked if the changes were so severe to start a campaign to join the IBT.

From what I've read, Flexjet organizing under the IBT will all but guarantee a single carrier lawsuit. IF the suit is successful, it would mean an immediate reduction in pay and benefits and a seniority list integration that might not be that favorable.

Let's let the lawyers from both sides settle it.

I'll just keep my resume current and fly my trips.

Better change your name to unlucky Dog...

So far... pretty lucky. I'm in the position of about to lose instead of having already lost.

I'm not a kool aid drinker, far from it. I don't things will get better after the sale but I also don't think things will be as bad as the FLOPs contract for at least a few years.

By all means don't do anything before it gets bad!

Has FLOPS indicated whether they are going to extend your contract one more year or not? End of the month is tomorrow.

They already extended it. They even announced it early. They couldn't wait to give us the bad news that they were going to keep us 40% underpaid with no 401K match. Lets face it, the economy is getting better and they couldn't even use that as an excuse this time as the reason for the extension. There is absolutely no reason to not at least bring our 401K match back. He has immediately done that to any mechanics that get transfered over to Constance. This should serve as a shining example to any Flex pilot that they will not do a thing for the pilots because it is simply the right way to treat your family. If they wanted to show a shred of fairness, they could have at least met us halfway and given us the 401k back. If you don't have it in a contract, don't expect you are going to keep it.

You are one of the stupid pilots I referenced in a earlier post! "Don't do anything before it gets bad".. Don't buy fire insurance until after your house burns down. Don't put your hands up until after someone punches you in the face. That's some real good advice your giving Dimeline..think you must have smoked a Dime..maybe you should change your name to dime bag!!!!

The Waterview remodel was underway long before this was a twinkle in Ricci's eye. It needed to be done.
