I heard that Eagle, Pinnacle, GoJet, Mesa, and Silver Airways are interviewing pilots, flight attendants, and mechanics at the Job Fair in West Palm Beach, FL. Check out velocityaviationgroup.com for information and its INEXPENSIVE.

Oh... You "heard", huh? You mean you are the one running the show and need to create more advertising? $60 to talk to Mesa, GoJets and Silver? Where do I pay?

I heard that there's a aviation job fair in West Pam Beach, FL and airlines are coming to hire flight attendants! Check out velocityaviationgroup.com and check out who's coming and its inexpensive.

You're hearing a lot of things lately. You need to get that checked out.

Oh goodie!

Are the regional airlines still treating their pilots like sh!t and paying them like welfare recipients still or has this changed?

Yup! There is no need to go to a regional job fair and PAY to talk to recruiters. They are desperate for pilots and will actually come knocking at your door and lure you in with a hiring bonus. Save that job fair money and stick it in a savings account.

Cut the guy some slack. Most Commmerical pilots approaching 1500 hours know little about the industry.

I hate the negative world. It's much easier just to be nice.

Exactly! Guys approaching the mins know nothing but the hype people like Adammd88 use to take advantage of the uninformed. Hes part of the problem.

Hey "Flyguy1226", I'm actually the one "running the show" and the guy you are bashing is a Delta Pilot that was helping me out by promoting my first event! You also claim that you are "Delta's Bitch" and I'm sure the Delta Pilot who wrote that post really appreciates it.

How about you help promote the industry and the hiring trends ahead for the guy with less than 1500 hours that wants a shot! Or help promote a guy like me that takes the time to organize something that helps get guys jobs even if the big guys don't show up on the first one? Did you look at the price compared to other events? Maybe there was a reason for that?

If you think ALL the big airlines would show up to a guys first event with no history in doing job fairs, sounds like you will be pulling gear for the rest of your career! I guess I expected more from a guy that claims he is a pilot for Delta.

For those that are supporting new events like this, THANK YOU!

Cheers,

Dan
