Guys and Gals the only reason I posted this, is when I was in upgrade in Dec. I heard the new VP flt-ops and T say this first hand. They and (OX) were tired of the BS, and remember one of them was your XJ guy.

Well, this is somewhat confusing. There isn't a new VP of Flight Ops; CT has been in that position for many years. There is a new Director of Flight Ops and Chief Pilot. I assume you meant that he was from XJT, but you left off a letter and used an abbreviation typically used for Mesaba Airlines. I'm not sure what (OX) is.

In any case it is their job to scare the training classes during contract negotiations. SH & CT did a similar song and dance at nearly every RGT prior to Contract 2007 being signed.

Nobody is talking about return conditions on the 200 leases? 200 airplanes at $5 million each for LLP's and engines is 1 Billion dollars? Alternatively, why put any money into an airplane nobody will lease? Why isn't this a huge problem?

I dunno Rene. I seem to remember us losing MILLIONS when ZERO of our MAG engines passed muster at the lease return. I also remember our 14k hour birds falling apart and then coming to SKYW and flying a bird with 37k on it and thinking, wow these new planes are great! What a difference a QUALITY operation makes!
How big was MAG 7 years ago? NOW????
Who is getting new aircraft?
Who is paying a dividend EVERY quarter?
Who is posting great profits?
Who is the LAUGHING STOCK of the industry?
Who is flying -200's that come off lease for NEW partners?
Who is making MILLIONS on pro-rate flying?

I remember Mike L saying that the big reason that MAG was losing it's shirt on delays was because United was "screwing them" by not integrating them into a delay mitigation system that would prioritize flights based on crew legality, aircraft routing and passenger connections. WE WERE LOSING MILLIONS!!! They "extortion" UAL wanted? ONE EMPLOYEE TO BE HIRED AT MAG TO ADMINISTRATE! SAME HERE>

MAINTAINING YOUR AIRCRAFT IS A GOOD INVESTMENT. YOU SUCK!

The FROR in the agreement is between ual, Skyw and xjet mgmts. It has nothing to do with the pilots. If the mgmts agree to a different deal that does not include an exchange of 145s, then the FROR deal can be voided if all parties agree.

Also, the first section of the tpa includes an exclusion that has been added for aircraft returned to the lessor, which amends the job protections we have relating to transfer/exchange of aircraft. The company has already used this exclusion on the -200 side.

Yes, that loophole has also been known for a long time. In fact, it's not a loophole at all. Both parties agreed that management can do anything they want with any aircraft that come of lease on a CPA.

And like I said on another post, the real loophole that we've all known about for a long time is the ability of them coming up with a whole new CPA.

What I'm telling you is that that is not what is happening here. And the reason why is because management doesn't even need to go that far for them to get what they want with all the existing facts on the table: the CAL CPA with its FROR, the TPA, and the firm order for 100 175s. It's all going according to their plan. The hardest part is behind them.

You sound like that ****************************** kid in the neighborhood who comes out with his big new toy a day after Christmas and taunts the other kids in the neighborhood because their parents aren't as rich to give them the same toy.

Who is bigger? Dividends? Great profits? Really? That's what you are boasting about now that daddy gave you a shiny new 175 for Christmas?

I'm sure you would have slam dunked all those millions of profits for pro rate flying on our heads if RAH or MAG would've gotten those aircraft.

Weren't you the guy that was bragging for months that he was going to get that toy first?

I was bragging that "he" would get that "toy" first? Why would I brag about Skywest Airlines getting 175s first?

Evidence shows that its the Skywest people, starting with dispatchers, that tend to brag on any SKW/ASA/XJT thread.
