Back to the original topic, how can you be certain that delays are due to the sequester? I've not had any delays (but I fly corporate) and so I'm wondering how you could know definitively that the delays are due to the sequester.

ATC would gladly tell you the ground stop/airborne delays etc were due to "staffing" (aka sequester furliughs). It was also clearly posted on the FAA airport status page. But that's all past now with the agreement Friday. Now back to "normal" delays....

Got to be honest.... I am totally against gay marriage, and abortions!!! The spying thing... Republicans have no interest in spying of the average everyday citizen, just the guys that is popping up in their radar for other reasons.
And yes, I think we have a huge problem with SS and welfare (if you don't your blinders are really big!) Yes- The military can't ever be big enough!!! The strategy is called deterrents... Walk softly and carry a big stick.... I know.... you have to have a real historical education to understand this, not what they are giving in school these days... As for taxes... did you know that this year is the 100th anniversary of the federal income tax!! Kinda crazy to think that for the first 137 years of the republic, there was no federal income tax.... that is because the federal government of those days, did what the constitution charged them to "stablish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare (NOT PROVIDE WELFARE!!), and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity....
So... Run the court system, Law enforcement, National Defence (Yes the Military), Create the infrastructure to promote the economy...
That's it!!!! Nothing about SS, or Welfare, gays, abortion, or any of the other crap that you lib-tards keep dreaming up....

I'm not pro abortion. I'm pro choice. It isn't a choice that I would want my daughter to choose, but I don't believe that I or anyone else has the right to make that choice for her.

As far as late term abortions go, I support them if medically necessary.

I understand your point of view, but there are risks involved with pregnancy. Mostly though, its about someone being able to tell another person what they can or cannot do with their body. I don't believe that the government has any business dictating that.

In any case, this is precisely the debate that those in power with the interests of the truly wealthy people at heart want us to have. It's like the Wizard of Oz around here. Keep looking at the fire and flashy lights, and don't look behind the curtain. They have attached the social issues to the fiscal ones, and you idiots keep voting against your personal financial interests because you want to tell other people what to do with their lives. I don't care if gays want to get married... in fact that's great that they found someone to spend their life with. Just don't call me a bigot when I say its not normal. Abortions I am ok with... but you either can't keep your legs closed or be responsible enough to take the proper precautions so lets tax the hell out of this "convenience" (Injustice and health circumstances aside). I am not for spying on American citizens but I think if you are here illegally there should be very severe consequences for going around the correct protocol for immigrating to this country.
You should be free to do what you like. Just stop penalizing me because you had 20 kids you can't afford, you want to abuse social services that are in place, and you are not being a positive contribution to my country. The "fiscally responsible" republicans put in place tax cuts, then started two unfunded wars, increased Medicare costs. On the smaller government/ less regulation/ personal freedom end of things created the TSA and Passed the patriot act. And those are just the things I can think of off the top of my head.

Funny how I didn't see this administration repeal any of the above. So much for hope and change.
