I love the polished metal look, too. However, with all the composite airplanes AA is getting, it's hard to polish plastic.

yes agreed 500 times better, but this looks a little like Delta's first departure from the 70's traditional livery...yes much better and yes leave the classic the F alone500 time better. Although I still think it should be left unchanged.

That is exactly why there is nothing on the tail and the tail looks like a flag. Post merger next year expect a white flag to be slapped on.
