Actually, I never said it was delta, I said I worked at a legacy and 5 other airlines. I'm more than comfortable with the choices I've made.

And I'm not just flame baiting. I'm begging DALPA members to think long term for once and see what you're about to do. Short term thinking got us all 50 seat rj's. PLEASE don't do it again. !

All while you call us scumbags. I had dinner with two AT pilots last night, one an FO who is on your side now and is very happy. The other a 717 Captain who is pissed. Both great guys, but you have a lot of problems to fix in the coming years. I hold no ill will toward you, but you have a chip on your shoulder after being furloughed by DAL. I gave to the furlough relief fund and was glad to donate towards Cobra. And I didn't fly one minute of OT while we had pilots on furlough. But you, have nothing but deep seated anger at everybody around you.

I have zero anger.

I think it hurts the profession and subverts seniority to outsource such large and advanced jets.

Have we gotten to the point where that simple idea is militant and extreme?

Excuse me if I don't accept it as it becomes common. A spade is a spade.

Including taking one of those outsourced jobs that you so wholly hate!

Bull********************, you're a troll. You and your scumbag group sold out the industry for decades.

Keep living in the past scoot. My senior pilots sold out in the past, you're selling out now. You know what my senior did not do. Outsource. But keep distracting.

No one disagrees with that point. What is militant and extreme is thinking that just because you don't like outsourcing that you can immediately put an end to it instead of engaging in pattern bargaining to eventually get there. Making demands and pounding your fists on the table won't get you anywhere.

Haha. Good one red.

Again, PCL, you disingenuous twit. I have never said "all outsourcing must end with the next contract. What I object to is the expansion of the size of jets being outsourced.
It is not now industry standard to outsource -900's. Only delta and usair allow that size. Both delta and usair were in BK when they allowed them. Allowing more while profitable lowers the bar on the big RJ fight.

You have to misrepresent my argument to make your pro-ALPA agenda work.
I'm not anti-ALPA- by ANY stretch- but the organizations in aggregate have NOT lived up to their predecessors.

The one being disingenuous is you, wave. It has been industry-standard to outsource this size airplane for quite some time.

Really?
two airlines- both needed bk to get it done
AA and uniCal aren't fighting like hell to keep them off.

Sorry, but the NMB doesn't much care whether something was agreed to in bankruptcy or not. They only care what your "peers" (as determined by them) have. The NMB views DAL's peers as UAL/CAL, AMR, LCC, and maybe ALA and HAL for the purposes of pay rates. They exclude SWA because of the radically different business model. They also don't have much patience for spending time on permissive subjects of bargaining.
