Nah, it's not Jeff's fault negotiations have gone beyond the 2 year mark.

In my opinion, he's done a pretty respectable job for dispatch.

No, but you have to send it in to be offically TSO'd. And there is/was a cutoff date to get it done free. That may have passed.

Definitely is a great place, but there where plenty of pilots here that spent around a thousand dollars for this setup, out of their own pocket. Then flight ops says they need to review if it's 'legal'. All indications where that it was legal, but flight ops decided to pull it anyway. So we had alot of pilots that had a non-authorized headset immediately.

Just to give you the background on how things went down. The 737 does have significant flight deck noise.

Bule brothers, don't turn your back on him He will screw you over in a heartbeat if it will get him one step up the corporate ladder. He is a pigeon (gotta throw rocks at him to get him to fly).

On another note if the product wasn't TSO'd and the feds find out management allowed the pilots to use the product the repercussions could have been severe. Are the ones TSO'd still in use?

There is serious concern in Tranny Land that our guy will replace him. If that's the case, we'll all be 'out of the frying pan and into the fire'.

There is no FAA requirement to have a TSO'd headset.
