Hey B-atch

plenty to worry about if the turnout on the east is too low - lets say for example that 85% of the eligible phx westicles vote for "their guy" and the east has a low turnout and splinters the votes for the east'holes - it is entirely possible that one of the westicles gets 50.1 percent - which would then negate the need for a run- off of the top two vote getters.

Metrojet

My vote is in.

...Even if Fergi becomes prez, he will be a lame duck president. No one on the east will support HIS efforts.

Yep and we do not need the west. Let us stay separate. Problem solved.

I think some people are getting nervous...

For the easties who aren't on the fringe, if E.F. wins you will get a contract to vote on, wow scary. If you don't like it, vote no keep LOA 93 or if E.F. doesn't produce recall him! Otherwise vote USAPA/LOA93 get paid less than Allegiant! Seems simple.

I love your pic of C.B
So funny

There's a BIGGER driving force behind all this. Bigger than USAPA, AOL, the Nic ,East/West, blah, blah. Its in play, just watch closely.
The interested party does not care about issues with a flawed sli award. They will impose their will AT ALL COST. To see a worthwhile transaction come to fruition.

On that point, only a fool would disagree.

But oh well I'm just an easthole, what do I know......

The bating and name calling in both directions is well beyond stale. We've been doing it for so long that it's become a case of, "well HE started it". While we may vehemently disagree on our positions, it's embarrassing that we can't be big boys and girls and at least publicly act respectful to each other. I've had a few PM discussions with a handful of individuals on the opposite side of the fence and sincerely appreciated the civility. At the end, we agreed on a few things and just agreed to disagree on a few others.

There are some really smart people on both sides of the table. Imagine what they could accomplish if they were on the same side.

...Even if Fergi becomes prez, he will be a lame duck president. No one on the east will support HIS efforts.

That is an unfortunate possibility. I'd like to believe our fellow pilots wouldn't be so obtusely shortsighted.

You'll need each other once the judge rules. Until then any officers you elect will be lame ducks.

Marty, Haven't voted yet...still thinking what to do but close to doing 1,3,2...4...3...5...11. Spoke to a bunch of friends this morning getting their input.

Press 4,press 4, press (who Cares), Press 3, Press1,Press6, Press 7. And get a contract. Anything else is just ignorance. Oh wait. Its the East, I forgot. They like getting paid Mesa wages. Continue on

You really voted for the knitting granny??? 500 grievances backlogged and you vote for her. She is a moron and has no place being in there.

East vs. West B.S. asside. Think before you vote on this one. Your Career could count on it. I sure as hell would not want that old bag of bones defending me in a section 19 case.

Come on Gup, Have you not heard of the average age of the pilot group ? Lucky they are not voting via the telegraph. BallotPoint is available but I think only the 3rd list folks know how to use it.

...... I do not know about you guys, but I work for money, not status....

Ok, since it's not about status (ie. 330 CA seat), you would be fine with a DOH list that let's you maintain your current position with a nice payraise and QOL improvements??

Sorry, no Mulligans. Nice pay raise and QOL improvements? Obviously, you haven't read what your NAC has already TA'ed.

Isn't you talking about old people like the pot calling the kettle black? :p Mail-in ballot delivered by pony express for some of you geezers..... How's reserve? Flying much up there?

East pilots have a hard on for being a captain (i.e. E-190 CA). Keep em, I'll keep bypassing, but would like a pay raise this decade to offset inflation. Wow, upgrade at 62 and retire after three years on reserve, a dream come true!!!

At any other airline I would probably be lumped in with the AARP crowd but at Airways I am still a young pup. Just ask the FA's, They will tell ya. Remember to have them turn up their hearing aides before you ask though ;-) Still pretty slow up here (knocking wood) I have a feeling that's about to change next month.

Turtle is still under the delusion that the west pilots are ready to scale the walls to get at PHL and CLT. What he needs to do is ask Bradford why he rejected the west's right to continue section 6 negotiations. If the pay gap was even larger than it is now, there might be less vocal demands for a contract.

But the east in typical hissy-fit fashion decided that if they couldn't get pay parity out of the company, they would ignore the west's section 6 rights.

Which brings us to the hybrid DFR and the east's only choice to secure gains pre-AA merger - Ferguson/Koontz.

Go back to bed Turtle, we'll let you know how it all turned out! :)

I'll never understand why West folks can be so corrosive in their rhetoric and then shamelessly propose the East vote in favor of the West candidates, who say they have no intention of upholding the constitution of the pilots they seek to serve.

You probably don't understand why usapa and it's constitution are failures either.

Yes, why is this not the Constitution of our country?
http://www.civilwarhome.com/csconstitution.htm

USAPA could put DOH in their constitution once a joint contract was in place, but not while they are still under the restrictions of the Transition Agreement.

Understand it now?
