Seven,

LMAO! You're quickly going to learn that at Pinnacle, not having a flashlight equipped in an aircraft is one of the least "lame" things you will come across.

The culture at Pinnacle, and especially Colgan are about to change. The whip is already being "cracked" at Colgan. It's a wonder the FAA hasn't shut them down yet. I've been hearing some scary things lately. Just turn on the news....they are on fairly frequently. You guys know you just got a new COO right?? That should tell you something.

Would if I could. Maybe you haven't heard...they're parking them...FYI

All I'm saying is be happy you have a left seat to go to. Complaining about a flashlight is pretty petty when you have to deal with what some people are dealing with. Time to move on. I hear this award is not going to be good for 9E.

Shockey was a PT stooge. Now that PT is gone, all his colleagues are being forced out as well. A new COO is no surprise. Typically, when you bring in a new CEO, he's bound to bring in some new players, and no surprise that one was from Frontier (someone he knows well). The culture may change, but very slowly. Until then, expect status quo. The realignment delays highlights their lack of manpower, lack of computer skills/personnel, lack of intelligence.

And, oh, if 11-09 is a mess and the computer is spitting errors, then I for one want the entire 11-08 redone!

I heard 11-08 was done manually from the get go. Just a rumor though.

DS was replaced by JS, who came from Mesaba. The culture is changing. Quickly as a matter of fact, go roam the halls of the CEC if you don't believe me. We all need to accept this reality, and assimilate. The 9E that you seem to loathe in one hand, and threaten Mesaba guys with in the other, IS changing. On the bright side, for you, it will be for the better.

Your CA's that would be downgraded and your FO's that would be furloughed with the loss of A/C would have had it a lot more painful. Just saying it's rough on our 4-5 year FO's. There are guys upgrading that are 4 years junior.

Everyone is paying for this merger. I agree, some more than others, but at this point all we can do is accept our individual positions and move on. EVERYONE has felt some pain with this, EVERYONE will experience changes from this. The pain your 4-5 FOs are feeling is no worse than the 4-5 year FOs after 9-11. How about a newhire at TWA? This industry is riddled with these stories. None of us had control over this. And the few that could have pushed it into a more fair integration, pushed that responsibility of on Bloch. In the end, you can make your life more miserable by complaining, or you can accept your newly fellow pilots as equals and move on from this. There are good people, and great pilots that are coming into this combined 9E. Expect changes for the better, don't fight them. There are better ways to do things than has been the status quo of 9E. This does not mean there were not good things at 9E in the past, but there are some areas and issues that could be better managed.

I can't apologize for any injustice you feel due to the ISL, I as most, had no control over it. But realize that everyone in this industry has a stagnation, bankruptcy, or merger story. A 4-5 year FO in 1999 was about halfway to upgrade. The upgrade times will go down again when the majors start hiring, until then make the best of your current situation.

Murph, I did fine. I have good friends that got hammered here. I just don't understand how guys can come on here and complain about minuscule things. I'm all about moving on. I'll buy you a flashlight seven. Will that stop the crying?
