It's absurd that from 1500 suggestions they've whittled it down to Endeavor Airways and Sky Connection. They must me bloody joking. So after all this bee essing around for months we end up with either XJT or ASA. Way to go, guys.

They came up with these two crap names because out of the 250 that were legal, the "leadership" still got to select the "best" two.
I'm voting ExpressJet.

ala DFW Closing

How long until somebody is in the crew lounge handing out little stickers to put on your ID to recognize you as an original ASA person?????

I find it amusing at the things that finally get people fired up around here.

We used to put yellow stickers on the SIDA badges for ex-DFW and blue for ex-SLC.

You never know, the ASA name may come out ahead. For much of your recent history, you've had one "mega hub" and as far as I can tell, your management keeps their thumb on you a bit more than XJT management did. I think this generates a stronger sentiment among your folks to keep the name ASA whereas a lot of XJTers don't even know we're voting on a name.

Most are selecting ExpressJet in ORD.
No on the Name plates, hats optional year round, and option 3 on the wings/brass

I think most of you guys should have to wear bras and panties on the outside of your uniforms. Freebrd and Stifler's Mom should wear thongs on their heads, too.

Bye Bye---General Lee

You responded to my new signature line with your General Lee name, not On Your Six. Dummy.

Optional hats will come at the expense of the pilots. Company will only pay for required uniform pieces.

That doesn't make sense to me...unless your planning to wear a hat even though you are not required to do so. If it's not mandatory, don't buy one and you won't have an expense.

I thought we were going gold because it required the least amount of uniform changed company wide to save costs. However from what I read it sounds like we are going with a different gold than what Expressjet already has requiring ALL pilots to change stripes. Additionally, if we are also changing wings along with a new logo then ALL pilots are changing brass as well.

With this apparent swap out of ALL pieces for ALL pilots then what did which color we went with have to do with any cost savings? What am I missing?

I still contend that the new name should be ASA with the same silver bars.

We will have newer wings than anybody else in the unemployment line after our genius management loses all of our flying.

When you work at an "airline" that nobody has ever heard of, and have the logo of another airline painted on the side of your aircraft, there is no such thing as "your" flying.
