Why would you want to go to Delta? Furloughs will be happening fairly soon.

Good point. You'll notice it was OYS that hijacked the thread. He or she just can't pass up an opportunity to bash SWA whenever an opportunity arises. Even when it doesn't, OYS can still make it so. Kinda' like some of the other SWA haters out there.

OK. How 'bout we return this thread to the stated topic: How to get this person who wants to be hired at Delta, hired at Delta. Good luck.

And OYS, please return to one of your "I hate SWA" threads, where you belong. Thank you.

Bubba

Hmmm kind of reminds me of a certain FI member who used to talk about good times on Lubbock overnights. General Lee and OYS are the same person! Duh. Love how they "back each other up" lately. Someone really needs to get a life.

Back to the OP, yes, airline apps is the way to go. You don't need to pay to apply, you can set up a separate account for each app. You only need to pay if you send out multiple apps from the same account. Good luck.

There's a MASSIVE cost with all that movement that Genital gets giddy about...because he doesn't care..

Just like the 747 FO that was literally BRAGGING that he sits at home and make full guarantee. He thought it was awesome!

I love the legacy mentality. Works well for SW.

RF

I agree about the training costs of all that movement. It seems like American is the only one being the least bit proactive about upcoming attrition. Hope the others get the clue soon.

But to your point about the 744 FO, might I remind you of the 3 stages of a professional pilot: 1. Paying to fly 2. Being paid to fly 3. Being paid NOT to fly. This guy's doing it right.

That's due to 744s getting lie flat seat MODs and AVOD (video at each seat). Then, throw in the 30 Senior 744 Captains that took the early out package, along with 12 senior 744 FOs. This Fall is slow for the mods, (on both 744 and A330), but Spring will be busier, and depending on future retirement numbers, hiring could happen next year. Speaking of retirements, you guys at SWA have about 150 or less per year for the next 10 years, and then add the young Airtran bunch to your list. That might mean stagnation for years for you guys, especially since your CFO just stated no growth through 2013 to the media.

Bye Bye---General Lee
Left Delta six years ago for bluer skies. Have'nt looked back. Give it a rest GL. Blah Blah Blah

That's right, according to Box Office, two people can't have similar views, or state things in similar ways without being the same person. That's ridiculous. Many people share Lee's views, but people like Boxy are scared of anything out of her "norm". Box, try not to take everything so seriously, and people can get some useful info along with entertainment at the same time. Looks like you're the one who needs to find something, primarily a sense of humor.

Godspeed lady!

Good for you, but in 6 more years you may be totally bored. By then many airlines will probably make up the pay gap between you guys and current legacy pay, and then you may be left wondering about what could have been. But if you are happy now, well good for you. And was Lee wrong about the projected retirements at your airline? You must not really care, which is great for you.

Godspeed!

OYS

And yet, he/she still believes people don't know the difference.

Talk about the suspension of reality.

RF

What's great is "both of us" continually make you look dumb. You can't debate either of "us", and you couldn't debate your way our of a paper bag. You're dense.

Godspeed!
