Really? And that "education" should come from www.shtfplan.com? Specificallynfrom Mac Slavo's rants on shtfplan.com? You are WAY outside the bell curve of normal if you follow this guy.

I took the liberty of finding a repository of his works. Feel free to peruse and see if you can spot a general "America is Screwed unless we get my party in office" attitude.

What do you talk about all tour?

Ok, I get titties and beer, but for how long? (I'm old, not dead! I can hang for a good length of time)

Guns! Great subject, that will take up a good amount of "leg" time.
(It always amazes me how much people that own guns enjoy the sport of shooting, yet a large majority do not hunt. Those that do not own guns generally go "ewww" guns are dangerous! (As they hurtle through the sky at 500 miles an hour in a tube)

Fishing and hunting? Thats a good one and safe for everybody!

Politics? Yeah, everybody has an opinion.

If you disagree with me then it's your chance to educate me.

Finances? Ugh! Where do I put my money? I'm receptive to any and all advice on that!
This is also a sensitive subject when you are flying with a junior FO that is probably just scraping by? (Back to the politics and finance subjects)

The 10 year plan? Who knows?

Take care, Semore

I don't care about that particular website. I just posted that one article to teach you about the Fast and Furious gun deal if you had not heard about it.

Obama is against guns and freedom. Don't ever doubt that.

I don't care about that particular website. I just posted that one article to teach you ...

And yet you posted it. You posted the far right rantings of a lunatic (most would say) from a small, little independent website with an agenda and offered that as an "education".

Just watched last nights "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart". It's a little more main stream and after all, Jon Stewart has in fact been voted Most Trusted Newscaster (Source).

Here is a link to the show. Just watch the first segment and then come back and tell me if you agree with the GOP stance on how to run this country. Namely, should we consider taxing more or not. I don't want to sway you, just watch the video and tell me what you think. It's one of his better pieces if you ask me.

I thought about starting a new thread for this but since it got brought up and nobody really has a "10 year plan" anyway I posted it.

Enough with crazy far right or far left arguments. The county is going to hell and I blame the right. I don't support able bodied folks living off the efforts of the rest of us, but the facts show that isn't the main problem.

Anyway, here are those links again:

This is exactly why I don't discuss politics in the cockpit or in general..... Like I said ...far too many people believe everything they read from any source and take it as the gospel....

I had a coworker recently tell me as a matter of fact, that Obama wasn't born in the USA...His source, Fox News and Donald Trump...The first is a broadcast that is severely against anything Democrat, the other is well...Donald Trump... It's always important to consider the source...

Heh... I still remember when Stephen Colbert was on the Daily Show, and spouted off some completely ridiculous statement about somebody.

Stewart says, "Come on, that can't be true."

Colbert says, matter-of-factly, "It doesn't matter if it's true, Jon -- it's been widely reported!"

Wish I could find the clip. Pretty much sums up TV news these days. :D

Are you seriously claiming that The Daily Show's self-described "fake news" (on COMEDY Central) is a "mainstream" news source?! That's awesome!!

Jon Stewart, in his interview on Fox News Sunday (I also DVR Meet the Press and Face the Nation, so no need to accuse me of being a brainwashed Fox News acolyte) a couple months ago said "I'm a comedian first.". So you're getting your news from an ideologically-motivated comedian (his words), so good luck with that...

You should check out the FNS interview, it may change your opinion of the funny man because he comes across as a hot-headed prick...

I'm no supporter of O'Reilly, so you won't see me defending him, other than to say he's not hiding behind the fact that he's just a comedian and peddling "fake news".

You may feel that Fox News is fake news, but it's pretty easy to PROVE that The Daily Show is.
