Pretty accurate.... Why would we vote in a lesser contract when ours is good as is. And I see all the things you describe every week. I'm honestly seeing more unity in the XJT pilot group than I've seen in a long time. What's funny is that no one at XJT that I have flown with or talked to cares about managements problems anymore. No one cares to go the extra inch that they use to, no one cares what the write ups are, no one cares. Even the senior lifers, including chief pilots, are preparing to leave. There will be no JCBA at XJT without significant increases to both QOL and pay so there will probably be no JCBA for several years. That won't hurt the pilots of XJT one bit, but it will certainly cost ASA and SKYW. And yes, if SKW manages to close ASA/XJT then that is that, we move on with our lives.
It's time to cut XJT loose...let them sink on their own.
You are just a blue collar union worker, your opinions on corporate strategy do not matter. You are stuck with us whether you like it or not. You can go back to school, climb the corporate ladder, and work your way into a position that allows you to make such decisions. That or you can post irrelevant opinions on flightinfo.com based on other irrelevant posts on flightinfo.com.
Just glad I will never have to fly with Joe Merchant!!! I disagree with every single thing he says!!! Let's cut loose all the guys who believe we should not ask to make a good living while seeing our kids more than one day a week!!! Hey Joe, how about management does just a little better job running this place that has become a joke and we can all do better!!! What is wrong with that logic??
please don't give that fruit loop any attention
